🌻Adobe(ADBE)
a. net new Digital Media ARR (3% beat vs guide, vs 15% beat in 2Q21 vs 35% beat in 3Q20).
b. 有分析師在問(“Maybe just -- can we double-click on the seasonality commentary in the quarter? Because if we look at the beat versus guidance on net new digital media ARR, it looks, at the same time you had the weakest beat, but then the strongest guide in the last three years, which kind of speaks to and confirm some of those seasonality comments that you made.)
i. (I think going into the quarter, we had expected that the consumer with a little bit more return to normalcy as what's happening in the environment.)
ii. So, net-net, I would say that the growth prospects for that particular business and the growth drivers remain intact. But again, very much in line. And this is what we feel good about the insights that we're getting on the business.”
iii.
o “I mean, a big part of that is more and more companies are thirdly doing the multi-channel omnichannel, whatever they want to call it. And I think that's only going to continue to be a driver of our Digital Experience Solutions. Because today that stable stakes and so we just look at it and say whether you're shopping in-store over they are shopping online. You need a solution that treats you like a customer that we know of.”
o And one of the things we did really well is what we called our named user deployment and how, you know, when we have these enterprise licensing agreements, we offer enterprises the ability to download and distribute within the companies. And the more we do training and evangelism of the products, that leads to adoption. So, I would say there's an element of standardization, there's an element of more content.
On Sept. 15, Adobe announced that it will add payment services to its e-commerce platform this year to help merchants accept credit cards and other ways of paying. The move will deepen Adobe's rivalry with e-commerce firm Shopify (SHOP).
For the service, Adobe has partnered with PayPal (PYPL), which will process a variety of payment types, including credit and debit cards as well as PayPal's own payment and buy-now-pay-later offerings.

🌻The Facebook Files
The Facebook Files
https://www.wsj.com/articles/the-facebook-files-11631713039
https://on.wsj.com/2ZmFimp
https://www.thenewslens.com/article/156683
他說, be curious, not judgemental.

I’ve spent the past 4 months training in a lot of gyms, and watching hundreds of people in different countries and environments train got me thinking “if I had to give them ALL one piece of advice, what would it be?” 🤔
-
I settled on slowing down their reps. I don’t know why there is such a wild obsession with “explosivity” 🤷🏻♂️ It’s like everyone has forgotten the equation F=ma, and lost the ability to observe what happens to joint control when people try to move weight quicker than they’re capable of coordinating 🧐
-
I would love to go up to the tonnes of people throwing weight around as quickly as they can and ask them what they think they’re getting out of it❓
-
The only possible argument could be that they’re training for the “athletic carry over” of moving quickly (a separate topic of suspect science that I won’t go into now), but it’s very hard to believe that such large portions of each gym consider themselves “athletes” and aren’t just training for improved strength, quality of life and aesthetics 😎
-
If anyone is under the impression that making the intended muscles contract and produce force under control at a high intensity without “explosivity” is not getting them the same gains as faster movements, please let me assure you that is not the case☝🏽
-
5️⃣ Things to consider with high acceleration movements:
- Forces at transitions increase dramatically, reducing control of the joints that aren’t meant to be moving.
- Stress placed on connective tissue to manage what muscles can’t increases.
- Resistance profiles get changed (and rarely for the better)
- “Range of motion” becomes harder to control, and thus less regular
- Load placed on muscles becomes acceleration-dependent, harder to track & thus only possible to gradually, consistently increase if you have advanced equipment to measure this with.
-
I’m not saying bouncing out of the bottom of reps and swinging into “full range” will be the death of your joints ☠️ or get you no gains. (To varying degrees) our bodies are resilient & adaptable and regardless of what you do contractions are still taking place and force is still being produced 💪🏽
-
I’m just saying it rarely makes much sense.

Just gave it some thought last night. #MissHongKong2021 Watching competitions are really fun and all but if you are one of the competitors in it, it is the most nerve-racking experience ever. First off, i want to say thank you all the 20 girls last night for showing us what you are made of, looking top shape and trying the best you could in this tough training period. It’s not easy, we past pageant women have all been through it. Elimination rounds are not a good feeling either. It’s okay that you did your best and the certain outcome you wanted didn’t turn out. It’s okay to have mixed feelings and don’t know where you stand after the show. Give yourself time to digest, reflect and move forward again😚 As for the question section, you all answered wonderfully, no one was more right or more wrong. We all just wanted to see you girls be your natural selves and let your inner self shine🥰🥰🥰
Awesome job! Everyone was so confident and you all progressed so much since I watched your #Mestaycation episodes in quarantine🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
To end it with a positive note, as long as you gave your best and you have no regrets, you did great❤️👍🏻
You walk your path, you will bring light to your road. This is not the end, this is all a beginning to something bigger. The winner title is not the only life goal you will have, this is a great stepping stone to knowing more about what you truly want in your life❤️ always be curious. Always keep the good attitude and stay optimistic🥰 #asmyparentswouldsay #talkwithyourfriendsfamily #getsomeconstructivefeedback #dreamsaregood #theremaybeanevenbiggerdreambehindthat #dontgiveup #applausetoaltheperformers #thankyouforyourhardwork #keepsmiling #beyourself #itsgoingtobeokay #proudofyou
