If you happen to Damai W9 must try the “Signature Vietnam Fish Head Claypot” by Qiang Sifu...he has more than 30 years experience including his must try Hokkien Mee since childhood time. Other special dishes including Stout Ribs, Nyonya Big Prawn etc.

"What does Kakatoo mean?" I asked. "Oh, it's our refined version of cockatoo, or what most Malaysians know as burung kakak tua,"... Right. They must be a fan of birds.
I recently visited KakatooGo KL, an exceedingly new Malaysian Nyonya restaurant, tucked right downstairs of the 5th Element Hotel, among the growing stretch of cafes along Jalan Sultan. KakatooGo to the newest addition to the Kakatoo chain of restaurants, focusing on the to-go concept. The restaurant is also Halal certified.
I thought the place serves as a great introduction to traditional Malaysian and Nyonya food, for tourists venturing into Petaling Street, and also for locals wanting to rekindle the local tastebuds, at a comfortable and laidback setting.

Diners are spoilt for choices especially when it comes to Nyonya Food at Sri Bahari Road, just that stretch of road itself, there are 3 Nyonya Restaurants. Few doors away from Ceki, Baba Phang 峇峇之家 is equally popular and the crowd can be seen in the evenings. It is however, relatively quieter during the day time. Like any Nyonya restaurants, the menu features many familiar Nyonya delights, including soups and desserts. Prices are of restaurant-standard. While there were some hits and misses, the serving portion was generally more generous than its competitors. Worth checking out if you yearn for Nyonya food.
