An early Christmas dinner for just the three of us. It was nothing special and just a little dinner but it was a huge deal for me on this evening. An anniversary to celebrate one year of extreme resilience, strength and growth. Holding on to hope paid off. Truly it did. I had this tiny little spark of hope but I held on to it and it lead me out of miles of darkness. Never underestimate what the tiniest of hope can do and definitely never underestimate yourself. I woke up so liberated, strong, happy and at peace today. The kids LOVED last night. I got them little gifts that they could open after dinner but nothing compares to the excitement of crackers.
