I used brioche bread - it’s the best kind to make French toast, but you can use any white bread. For the custard, I switched regular milk for coconut milk (yes, santan!). And the coconut whipped cream? I used the same “quick and lazy” method a.k.a the blender, to whip up coconut cream (chilled overnight), maple syrup and vanilla essence. I just lovee the coconut flavour! And it’s actually a healthier alternative to the regular whipped cream 💁🏻♀️
