Its been a week since we came back with a baby girl in my arms and without the hardworking team from @parkwayeasthospital this delivery wont be as smooth as it gets!
Even though i may be a 3rd time mum but i am as nervous as any ftm when my contractions starts early on 30 June. The moment i waddled into the labour ward, i was warmly welcomed by the senior nurse Emmeline and her team who really eased my worries about what's coming up by giving me step by step instructions on what to expect.
The entire team of nurses from the ward to the single room really made 100% sure that we are all well taken care of. Even though we are encouraged to room in with the baby as they are advocating for more breastfeeding, the nurses made sure to check on us promptly too.
We were also well fed with the scrumptious meals, i mean who knew hospital food can taste so good (swipe to see) even for an abalone porridge! I picked mainly their confinement food while my husband enjoyed lobster for one of his lunch!
The entire experience from learning new tips on lactation all over again (Ms Eileen is really informative, love her!) to our super friendly Pd, Dr goh and specially my awesome gynae Dr lubna was absolutely amazing! I know they all played a part in one of my smoothest birth journey ever. Not forgetting the lady anesthetist who made epidural painless compare to my past experience!
Sincere thanks to the entire team of @parkwayeasthospital especially the operation team who came down to set up a welcome signages before I came to stay for 2 nights! Thanks so much everyone! We cant not be more grateful!
