จากรายงานของ GamesIndustry ระบุว่า ทาง Warner Bros Games ได้มอบหมายให้คุณ David Hewitt ขึ้นเป็นหัวหน้าคนใหม่ของ Monolith Productions สตูดิโอผู้พัฒนาเกมซีรีส์ Middle-Earth, F.E.A.R. และ Condemned

[Mods] ม็อดเปลี่ยน Fallout 4 ให้เป็นเกมสยองขวัญแบบ Silent Hill อัปเดต EP2 เพิ่มเติมเนื้อหาใหม่แล้ว

"Whispering Hills" คือม็อดที่จะเปลี่ยนดินแดน Commonwealth ของ Fallout 4 ให้รายล้อมไปด้วยหมอก เสียงสยองขวัญแปลกประหลาด และลากคุณเข้าไปยังต่างโลกที่เต็มไปด้วยมอนสเตอร์จาก Silent Hills อย่าง SirenHead, Mumblers, Lyingfigures, Ghouls, Silent Hill Nurses และ Twin Head Screamers ซึ่งม็อดนี้เปิดให้ผู้เล่นโหลดไปใช้งานตั้งแต่เมื่อปี 2019

ช่วงเช้าของวันที่ 3 มกราคม ปี 2021 แพลตฟอร์ม Steam มีการเปิดเผยรายชื่อเกมที่ได้รับรางวัลชนะเลิศสาขาต่าง ๆ ใน Steam Awards ประจำปี 2020 อย่างเป็นทางการ โดยมีผลลัพธ์ยืนยันว่า Red Dead Redemption 2 เวอร์ชัน PC คือเกมที่ชนะรางวัล "เกมแห่งปี" หรือ Game of the Year ประจำปี 2020 โดยใช้วิธีนับคะแนนโหวตมากที่สุดจากผู้ใช้ Steam

นอกจากนี้ RDR 2 ขึ้นแท่นรับรางวัลเกมเนื้อเรื่องยอดเยี่ยมประจำปี 2020 ใน Steam ซึ่งมีตัวเลขผลโหวตที่ค่อนข้างสูสีกับ Detroit: Become Human, Mafia Definitive Edition, Metro Exodus และ Horizon Zero Dawn

RDR 2 เป็นผลงานเกมแนวแอ็กชัน-ผจญภัยเปิดโลกกว้างของค่าย Rockstar Games ที่ออกวางจำหน่ายครั้งแรกบนเครื่องเกมคอนโซล PS4, Xbox One ในปี 2018 แต่เวลาต่อมา ตัวเกมถูกพอร์ตวางขายลง PC ช่วงท้ายปี 2019

แม้เกมเวอร์ชัน PC จะโดนวิจารณ์ด้าน Performance ไม่ดี หลังเกมออกวางจำหน่ายเพียงไม่กี่วัน แต่ตอนนี้คาดว่าปัญหาต่าง ๆ ได้รับการแก้ไขเป็นที่เรียบร้อยแล้ว นอกเหนือจากนั้น หากมองข้ามเรื่องปัญหา Performance ออกไป ตัวเกมมีกระแสตอบรับที่ดีมากในด้านการนำเสนอวัฒนธรรมคาวบอยตะวันตกอย่างสมจริง มีเนื้อเรื่องน่าติดตามและเป็นที่น่าจดจำ รวมถึงกราฟิกมีความสวยงามมากสำหรับเกมเจเนอเรชันเก่า จึงไม่แปลกใจนักที่ RDR 2 จะขึ้นแท่นเป็นหนึ่งในสุดยอดเกมแห่งปี 2018 จากสื่อเกมหลายแห่งอย่างไม่ต้องสงสัย
