The Practice Studio's first Yoga Retreat will be held at Khum Phaya Resort & Spa in Chiang Mai.

Every day, we will start off with a daily morning yoga practice, followed by breakfast. Then there will be free time for participants to choose what to do, either by themselves or organised by the group. This can include pottery classes, cooking classes, hiking around the area, ATV rides, river cruises, elephant visit sanctuaries, visits to downtown and many other activities! Every day will end with an evening practice to quiet the mind and restore the body and soul.

Breakfast is included in the price, however we have left lunch and dinners are excluded for participants to explore around town.

Come join us for our first annual retreat, with the early bird ending Sep 7th! Spaces limited to 10 students max.

We opened Akita Inaka School on August 5th, 2019 with 24 students from all around the world gathered in a small countryside town in Japan to study Japanese and learn about the Japanese culture and lifestyle for a month.

Shokunin (職人) is the Japanese word for craftsman or craftswoman. These are the men and women who preserve Japan’s traditional legacy of hand-crafting products including swords, drums, fans, pottery and more. Many shokunin use crafting methods that have been passed down for hundreds of years, sometimes within a single family. But because most things can be mass-produced these days, shokunin, and their skills, are disappearing. We want to help protect Japan’s historical arts by spreading awareness of their arts and broadening their market within Japan and overseas.
