Malaysia weather 🥵🥵 recently super hot and I need extra fan. So I have get this Houm 16' Metal Black stand fan. Love the vintage and classic looks of the stand Fan. It pairs well with my wooden furniture.
SWIPE left to view on the installation. Quite easy to install and no screwdriver required. Took me less than 10 minutes to install it.
Design in solid Metal blade and base. And the stand is adjustable. Come in 3 speeds.
Personally I think the stand fan suitable a small area and it mix well with any furniture. Not heavy and it easy to carry. Smooth rotation wide angel oscillation up to 85° or even it can tilt up and down. Super quiet with a good performance.
Oh ya, I nearly forgot to mention, the Houm Matte Black Stand Fan looks good in photo 🤣 More information, do check out HOUM - Malaysia or purchase at http://www.houm.asia/

PHÂN BIỆT CAN - COULD - BE ABLE TO - HAVE TO - NEED TO
1. CAN - BE ABLE TO ( hiện tại, tương lai)
“Can” và “be able to” đều có thể hiểu là có thể làm gì đó.
CAN:
Ex: Kelvin, CAN you please open the door for me?
Ex: Kelvin CAN cook!
Be able to:
Ex: Kelvin is able to swim very well.
Ex: We are unable to swim like Kelvin.
Ex: She is able to run very fast!
Ex: Kelvin is unable to run, he’s disabled!
2. COULD, BE ABLE TO ( quá khứ )
Note1: Could là dạng quá khứ của “Can”
Ex: They told me they could come to my tea party. I have some tea to spill.
“ Have tea to spill “ là idiom: có chuyện để tám.
Ex: He could have done better if he had studied hard last night.
Note2: Be able to về quá khứ thì các bạn chỉ cần chia “Be” => “Was/were”
Ex: I wasn’t able to come to your tea party because of my insecure being in your story.
Cách sử dụng COULD:
Ex: It could be raining tomorrow, so bring an umbrella. Just in case.
Ex: Be quiet! I heard something. It could be a tiger!!
“could” đặc biệt sử dụng với những động từ sau: See (nhìn), hear (nghe), smell (ngửi), taste (nếm), feel (cảm thấy), remember (nhớ), understand (hiểu)
Ex: His accent is quite heavy but I could still understand him every bit!
Ex: Calm down Kel! I could tell that you are worrying.
The building was on fire but Kelvin was able to escape ( Không dùng could được vì gây cấn quá ) :))
Kelvin is a famous deadlifter. He could win any medal!
2021 Kelvin met John who was also a professional deadlifter. I thought Kel would have lost but he was able to beat John ( or managed to beat john )
Ex: Can you give me the bottle, please?
Ex: Could you give me the bottle, please? <= Đưa chai nước liền.
3. HAVE TO - MUST - NEED TO
"Must," "have to," and "need to" in the positive or question form are used to speak about responsibilities, obligations, and important actions.
- Ex: I must finish my homework before tomorrow.
- Ex: He has to work on his presentation. It is due tonight.
- Ex: They need to come to Tam Kỳ if they want to eat the best “chicken meal”.
“Must”, “Have to” thường về công việc hơn còn
“Need to” thường về cuộc sống thường nhật.
Ex: I don’t have to get up at 9am today.
“Don’t need to” : Không cần làm gì (action). Một hành động không cần thiết
Ex: Kelvin doesn’t need to go to the grocery store this week. He has plenty of food.
“Mustn't”: Nghiêm cấm!
Ex: You must not smoke cigarettes in public while in Singapore!
Các bạn lưu ý nhé!

Đây là review cuốn The silent patient 😶

「About love. About how we often mistake love for fireworks—for drama and dysfunction. But real love is very quiet, very still. It’s boring, if seen from the perspective of high drama. Love is deep and calm—and constant. I imagine you do give Kathy love—in the true sense of the word. Whether or not she is capable of giving it back to you is another question.」

「It’s my birthday today. I’m thirty-three years old. It’s strange—it’s older than I ever saw myself as being; my imagination only ever extended this far. I’ve outlived my mother now—it’s an unsteady feeling, being older than she was. She got to thirty-two, and then she stopped. Now I’ve outlived her, and won’t stop. I will grow older and older—but she won’t. Gabriel was so sweet this morning—he kissed me awake and presented me with thirty-three red roses. They were beautiful. He pricked his finger on one of the thorns. A bloodred teardrop. It was perfect. Then he took me for a picnic in the park for breakfast. The sun was barely up, so the heat wasn’t unbearable. A cool breeze was coming off the water and the air smelled of cut grass. We lay by the pond under a weeping willow, on the blue blanket we bought in Mexico. The willow branches formed a canopy over us, and the sun burned hazily through the leaves. We drank champagne and ate small sweet tomatoes with smoked salmon and slivers of bread. Somewhere, in the back of my mind, was a vague feeling of familiarity, a nagging sense of déjà vu I couldn’t quite place. Perhaps it was simply a recollection of childhood stories, fairy tales, and magical trees being gateways to other worlds. Perhaps it was something more prosaic. And then the memory came back to me...」

In this video I am scouting a new location that I have not been to yet, which is the Garden Hill 嘉頓山 at Sham Shui Po 深水埗, I've been advised to check it out and scout the location for references, for when I am going to make timelapses in Hong Kong 香港 and capture B-Rolls of Hong Kong. Sham Shui Po self is quite well known and covered by many as a great location to shop for cheap electronics and camera accessories, but unkown for many its also a great place to capture the city scape of Hong Kong.
Garden Hill is a great location as its quiet and there are no tourist around who are in the way while you are filming or taking pictures. Also it is a great spot to launch your drone from and enable to get a nice city scape of Hong Kong. The only downside is the hike up with the stairs which I do advice to walk it up slowly as its quite the hike up, but also bring enough drinks as once you are up there, there are no shops or vending machines to buy drinks.

HK has nice place to visit too!
having been Edae & Nanlian garden, i found that both of them are quite similar.
Do you think so?
===================================
Ashley

Hi, this is Ashley
I believe that many people heard about Ewha Woman University (Edae)
Most traveler generally will think about where can go shopping, eating…etc in Edae.
But for me, I will be interest in the atmosphere, environment about this university.
I like to visit the view. Also, I feel relax when I see the colourful plants.
Back to HK, when I go to work by bus, I found that a place, where has colourful plants, seems similar to Ewha (Edae).
WOW! Such beautiful place is Nan Lian Garden, a part of Chi Lin Nunnery.
It maybe a bit difficult when pronounced in Cantonese. And it is a classical garden in a modern city.
HK people are so busy, and the pace so fast too. It is necessary to grape the chance to start afresh.
Even though it locates in modern city, it seems so peaceful compared to outside.
It is quiet and sacred.
If you are not shopaholic, or you don’t relax yourself by keep shopping, or don’t prefer to spend money to take a break (e.g. travel), this place is a good choice to start afresh.
At least it is not a remote area, we can go there conveniently.
It may not be the spotlight of tourism. But some foreigners know this place too.
As a HK person, you should visit there. Right?
The nature of Ewha & Nanlian Garden is totally different. Ewha is for education, while Nanlian Garden is a Buddhist place.
So why they are similar?
It is because both of them are near the subway stations.
Nanlian Garden is situated in Diamond Hill. When you go to Exit C2 of Diamond Hill MTR station, you will see that there is Hollywood Plaza. You go upstairs and find the Marks and Spencer. After passing through M&S and turn right, go straight and walk across the road, you will find it.
Edae is easier to visit.
Firstly you go to Ewha Woman univ. subway station. When you go to the street level, go straight around 10-15 mins, you will find Edae.
The 2nd reason why I think that they are similar, is because they are quiet.
But please bear in mind, no tripods no selfie stick are kept.
Please leave a comment if you have any comments about this video.
See you next time!
