<3 7-Eleven Malaysia Launches Semurni Kasih Community Care Programme In Conjunction With Ramadan 2021 <3

7-Eleven Malaysia, the country’s largest convenience store chain with over 2,400 stores nationwide, carries on its goodwill of helping less fortunate communities through Semurni Kasih, its annual donation drive under the Community Care Programme.

Held in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadhan, the 6-week-long donation drive will run until 23 May 2021. Customers can contribute by purchasing necessities including food, beverages, groceries, household essentials, personal care & other supplies at 7-Eleven stores & then placing the items in dedicated contribution boxes found in every store.

As the tagline ‘You Contribute, We Distribute’ suggests, contributions received will then be distributed by 7-Eleven Malaysia to various charity organisations and charitable causes across the nation.

Every bulan ramadhan for as long as I remember, the #celepets would mobilize, with our amazing partners and friends (you know who you are and we thank you), to help a group of single mothers under the care of #kindnessmalaysia
.
7 years on, we have connected as friends and we were looking forward to see these ladies and their children for a night where we could spread a little joy and give them whatever we could collect - donations/ essentials.
.
This year they need us more than ever but we can't see them (under the circumstances)
.
I am proud of my sisters for STILL #hustling to make sure we help them remotely

They are collaborating with Casa Raudha to help spread awareness against Domestic Violence and help raise fund at the same time.

This fund will enable Casa Raudha to continue to shelter the women and children who is suffering and those who have been discharged and may have been affected by the circuit breaker.

Since it’s the final 8 days of Ramadhan, they hope to channel it into the ‘Take a Stand’ initiative and gift the donation raised to Casa Raudha on 24th May. – Hari raya puasa

With that, they seek your help to share their cause with your audience in hopes to raise awareness and contributions during this difficult time and together, we’ll be able to make a difference through Ramadhan Blessings.
