將臨期起自聖誕節前四週，由最接近11月30日之主日算起直到聖誕節。西方基督教教會曆一年始於將臨期的第一主日。
將臨期的節慶，主要為羅馬天主教所遵守。整個將臨期一般採用的禮儀顏色是紫色或藍色。但降臨第三主日，俗稱「喜樂主日」，可用粉紅色。
天主教教會在將臨期時會擺飾一個花環，稱為將臨花環（又稱將臨環或將臨圈），裡面共有四支蠟燭，依照傳統應該是三枝紫色蠟燭，一枝粉紅色或白色蠟燭，每一主日燃點一枝蠟燭。
第一個主日（使用紫色蠟燭）：醒悟
第二個主日（使用紫色蠟燭）：悔改
第三個主日（使用粉紅色蠟燭）：喜樂
第四個主日（使用紫色蠟燭）：平安

Since you guys seemed to enjoy coming to events with me, i thought i'd bring you guys along to a few more (Loewe, Matches of fashion, Prada and Moschino). I know you guys love my haul videos but i've been uploading so many dedicated to hauls recently so i thought i'd squeeze the couple bits i've bought from Fendi, Manolo Blahnik (private sale) and Bicester Village into this vlog. Also finally sharing my (half assed) Christmas decorations Jacob and i put up a couple weeks ago. I've ended this vlog with a pack with me for Dubai and since i just came back from Dubai, i will be editing that vlog for the next video.
