History time!
Skilled in hunting with blowpipes, Murut men in the past believed that they can only get married after presenting at least one head to the family of the desired girl. They actively collect heads until about a century ago, and Murut people were the last of Sabah's ethnic groups to renounce headhunting. Now, they are one of the friendliest people in Sabah. 😁

Limbai dance is an original traditional dance of the Bajau tribe performed during a wedding ceremony. It is an act of welcoming the bridegroom and his entourage to the bride's house.

This dance is characterized by the graceful rotating movements of the wrists and the music accompanying the dance is called bertitik.
