Coming into the first light of Ramadan ..

I sit here but to give thanks and marvel at all the beauty that HE has unfold before me ..

How lucky I feel for having people praise me yet all I am is but a vessel that borrows stories from HIS mighty creation.

Subhanallah ..

Without HIS will I could not have felt nor experience ..

Without HIS permission this tongue would only utter empty words of nothingness..

Without HIS liking this heart would be blind towards all emotions..

I am just a story teller, sharing secrets and tales that has been lent to me ..

For I pray that It is in HIS fondness should I continue to gather stories and pass them on as a part of my responsibility as HIS servant ..

Alhamdulillah.
Everyday I'm so thankful for the opportunities I have gotten this year. To be able to host a documentary like Sentuhan Harapan has always been a dream of mine. To go to places less traveled. To tell stories of the voiceless. To see, feel and experience how lives are lived below the poverty level has been a painful thing for me to watch but so enriching for me. To remind me how good a life that we all have. No matter how depressing life gets, we have clean water to drink at any given time.

I have so much more photos and stories to share. But this photo here is me taking a break between hosting. This is where the badjaos (sea gypsies) live. There is no clean water, no toilets, no proper knowledge of hygiene, mortality rates are high, no concept of time and the sea that they depend on for livelihood and food is extremely polluted.

This is Lucena, Quezon.

In 3 days time, I'm leaving for East Java with the team of @xtrememediaasia to discover the discrimination of the mentally disabled.
