Undaunted
- He never lets other people’s opinions or any setbacks keep him from what he wants to do.
Charlie eats like he’s trying to get it over with.
(Charlie
To get sth over with 可以先觀察這兩句
I’m not looking forward to this stupid blind date. My mother told me to do it. I just want to get it over with.(我不期待這次的相親,我媽叫我要去的,我只是想要趕快去一去敷衍了事。)
I know you don’t want to clean the house, but the sooner you get it over with, the sooner you can go back to your Switch.(我知道你不想要整家裡,但你越快把事情做一做,你就越快可以回去玩你的Switch。)
Charlie takes all my moods steadily, he doesn’t give in to them or make me feel bad about them.(Charlie
這句英文要我來講我也許會講得亂七八糟什麼lose control/composure都出來,原來”give in to my moods”就好!
He moved to New York from Indiana with no safety net, and now he’s more New Yorker than any New Yorker.
What I love about Charlie…
Charlie is undaunted. He never lets other people’s opinions or any setbacks keep him from what he wants to do.
Charlie eats like he’s trying to get it over with and like there won’t be enough food for everyone. A sandwich is to be strangled while devoured. But he’s incredibly neat, and I rely on him to keep things in order.
He’s energy-conscious.
He doesn’t look in the mirror too often.
He cries easily in movies.
He’s very self-sufficient, he can darn a sock, cook himself dinner, and iron a shirt.
He rarely gets defeated, which…I feel like I always do.
Charlie takes all my moods steadily, he doesn’t give in to them or make me feel bad about them.
He’s a great dresser. He never looks embarrassing, which is hard for a man.
He’s very competitive.
He loves being a dad. He loves all the things he’s supposed to hate, like the tantrums, the waking up at night. It’s almost annoying how much he likes it, but…then, it’s mostly nice.
He disappears into his own world. He and Henry are alike in that way.
He can tell people when they have food in their teeth or on their face in a way that doesn’t make them feel bad.
Charlie is self-made. His parents…I only met them once, but he told me there was a lot of alcohol and some violence in his childhood.
He moved to New York from Indiana with no safety net, and now he’s more New Yorker than any New Yorker.
He’s brilliant at creating a family out of whoever is around.
With the theater company, he cast a spell that made everyone feel included. No one, not even an intern was unimportant.
He can remember all the inside jokes.
He’s extremely organized and thorough. He’s very clear about what he wants, unlike me, who can’t always tell.

Michael Jackson, T-Pain, Mike Tyson, Will Smith, and many other big names all have one thing in common...
They were great spenders...
It’s estimated that by the time of his death, Michael Jackson was 500 million-dollars in debt.
Mike Tyson blew almost his entire 400-million dollar fortune and people don’t even know what he blew it all on.
And no sooner had Will Smith made his first mil - he had spent his first 2 mil.
It’s crazy.
And spending habits like these aren’t unique to famous people...
You’ve probably heard of those doctors or lawyers that are always upgrading their lifestyle to match their income...
They get a better job - so they spend more on their lifestyle.
They get promoted, so they move into a bigger house...
And no matter how much comes in, they just never put any of it away.
It’s almost like they make sure there’s never anything left over...
5 years pass. Then 10. Then 20.
And suddenly, before they know it, they’re at 60. And they have nothing to show for all their hard work over the last 40 years.
And that’s what many people don’t get.
Most people think it’s all about how much you can bring in. How much you fill your wallet. But there’s more to it than that...
The Game Isn’t About Making It — The Game Is About Keeping It.
Now, I’m going to assume you don’t want to reach retirement with nothing in the bank...
But the sad reality is, most people don’t think like you do until it’s too late...
How many retired people do you know who don’t need any financial support from anyone else? They’re completely self sufficient?
Probably not too many.
And I’m talking about just the basics here (like affording a home, food, and travel)...
But what about this...
How many retired people do you know that can fly business class, can go on a cruise if they feel like it, and can just do whatever the hell they want - whenever they want?
My guess is way, way fewer. If any.
You see, all the people I know who are living their “dream life” right now, that are in that top 1%, know something the rest don’t.
They have mastered a skill most don’t even think about.
And that is the skill of Investing.
This is the second part of the formula...
Instead of blowing it all on a lavish lifestyle - they’ve learnt to keep a percentage of what they make in certain investment vehicles. And year by year they’ve grown it into a complete treasure trove.
And these people aren’t all super ‘well off’ to start with. That’s a myth.
They just start off like any average person with a couple hundred bucks. And they build on it month after month...
It’s how they got to where they are today. And it’s how they created the life they have now.
By the way, this is what I did too.
And after you’ve learnt this second part of the formula, you’ll be able to do the same.
On February 23rd to 24th, I’m holding a private event in Las Vegas where I’m going to show you the second part of the formula from beginning to end.
You’re going to learn every step you can start taking today to better equip yourself for your tomorrow.
This event is only for those serious about learning the secrets to investing...
Because at the event, there’s going to be a lot of action taking and implementing. If you want to come and just be an observer - this is probably not the right event for you.
If you want to apply for a seat at my exclusive event and believe you’re the right fit, just type the codeword “Event” below and I’ll send you all the details.
