When Brian asked me what do I want to do for my birthday, I told him I want to do something different and something close to my heart. With just two weeks of planning, we invited 80 of our close friends to a documentary screening on my birthday. My goal is to raise awareness to sex trafficking and the oppression women and girls face worldwide.

Part 2: U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested 2,000 traffickers and identified 400 victims of #HumanTrafficking last year. I am so proud of our friends flight attendant Donna Hubbard and Nancy Rivard (recent guests on The Real) for bringing awareness to the signs of #trafficking in #Houston. Major tourist events like the #Superbowl can become prime ground for #sextrafficking. A few main signs to look for while traveling:

1. Individuals (kids) not being able to speak for themselves when spoken to.
2. Not having any luggage
3. Someone who is ashamed/frightened/avoids eye contact/seems controlled or possibly bruised.
