With this post I wanted to share a quick journey story.
I love fashion. I grew up watching my mom and being surrounded by the people in this industry. I grew to love all the intricate details that go into creating a beautiful couture dress. The creating part being the key.
From there, I went to fashion school, interned at fashion houses and brands. And graduated determined to create something of my own.
7 years after I graduate here I am with a brand of my own. I started this journey almost 4 years ago not knowing how it was going to turn out. All I know is that I wanted to create and somehow make an impact on the industry and society. Along the way there were overwhelming opinions and voices and even though I developed a tough exterior I believe I somehow lost the reason of why I wanted to create the brand in the first place. I lost the creative voice in my head, I lost myself for a while.
That is why I took some time off from the brand. I wanted to rediscover my voice and what it meant to me.
Here I am now, refreshed, re-inspired and ready to bring more to the table. The journey of self discovery is a never ending one. What I’ve discovered is that I love creating. No matter it be through clothes or photography or art, making beautiful things is what I love and from now on I shall never forget that.
