“And we travel, in essence,
To become young fools again
To slow time down
And get taken in,
And fall in love once more!”
Took this picture from some corner of Lesser quarter in beautiful Prague.
It was a clear crisp beautiful summer day. But do I remember this day till now because of the good weather? Oh no! How can I forget the day when I made such a fool out of myself?!
That day the area was full with well dressed beautiful men and women. They came for a wedding photo shoot perhaps. I was with my friend and we were passing them after visiting Prague castle area. All of a sudden my flip flop betrayed me and I fell on my butt in front of everyone! I mean why oh why?? Why on that day? Why in front of all good looking guys? 🥲 My friend was so dumbfounded about the whole thing that she even forgot to help me and kept staring at me with big guys. Whereas I was sprawled all over the ground wearing this long gown, and hoping to disappear somehow. 🤣
Few suited booted tall handsome guys from the wedding wagon came for my rescue, and that was the only saving grace of this incident. I am still not sure whether I was excited enough or embarrassed.

Have you ever travelled solo?
In my opinion, everyone should go for a solo trip at least once in their life. It’s a life changing experience. The reasons I advocate for solo travel are-
•
1. You would never return the way you left your home. As they say “it leaves you speechless, and then turns you into a storyteller”! 😍
•
2. You learn to function walking beyond your comfort zone. ❤️
•
3. Spending time alone helps you get to know yourself better. You will discover just how strong you are! 🙂
•
4. Learning about a whole new world with a new perspective. The way you used to look at things will change.
•
5. You will get to make new friends since you wouldn’t have chance to depend or interact with your travel partner! 😁
•
6. Traveling alone wouldn’t be as scary and boring as you used to think.
•
7. The experience you will gather, you will treasure it for life! 💙
•
Is there any place where you would like travel solo??
Location: if you live in Scarborough, ON then don’t forget to visit this small beautiful waterfront. You will love the cozy comfort of this place.

*~* Ladies In Black *~*
The black fur beauty behind me was one of the local dog of that area. She was walking beside me till the time I left the place. Probably she liked me because we both were wearing black! So we bonded over colour black. 😉
I was impressed by the street dogs of Bhutan. All were healthy, big, fluffy and their furs looked so shiny as if they were well taken care off. I was very happy about that discovery!
Location: About 30 minutes drive from Paro towards Thimphu city, Tamchog Lhakhang sits across the Paro River. The Lhakhang Dzong is a privately owned temple and approached by an iron chain suspension bridge. The Lhakhang Dzong and the bridge were constructed by a 13th century Tibetan saint Thangthong Gyalpo. The Buddhist saint was also a blacksmith and an architect. Of the many iron chain bridges built, there are only few left which are still used. However, the one I was standing was the duplicate one of the original. In one of my previous post, I have shared a picture of the original iron bridge. I will leave the link of that post in the comment.
