🏃🏻♀️#helloabellabounces WEEK 1 UPDATE: so far I've done a total of 3 classes, two beginners and one Pilates. Progress (or lack there of) aside, I want to share with you guys my most vulnerable moments. Bear with me it might be a bit long... so whenever you're in a gym class you know how the more spiritually inclined instructors might skip in a line or two about breathing out negativity and mindfulness? Well the first time I heard it in my first class, I'm not kidding, I cried. When I thanked my body (hence my previous post quote), my body shook and I cried in class. But maybe I was under a lot of stress or whatever so I just chalked it up to my emotional instability. Today, I cried again. Obviously mid-stretch I tried my hardest to hold back tears, but that moment we were told to breathe out those damn negativity, I was aware of how much stress I've put myself under. No matter how much work and goals you set, it's important to be mindful of your mental wellbeing and emotions. If anything, it's only the first week, working out has helped me reset my mind. And this ain't just some soft marketing BS. 🙆🏻 aaaaanyway happy weekend everyone!! #checkyourself
