What better way to celebrate both our birthdays at 美滋锅 Beauty in the Pot at the Gardens Mall , cause I love hot pot and she loves midvalley . (Ask her how many Starbucks in midvalley and she will answer correctly - and yes . There's more than 1 Starbucks)

Taking this opportunity to thank Joanne for trusting and standing by Foodeverywhere all these years, for being such a spontaneous partner in all shenanigans, for being such a great assistant (occasionally overly enthusiast), for accepting and embracing my temper gracefully at work (disclamimer: I have very little temper to begin with...nevertheless....oh well..)....

And so we cheers to our birthdays.

Back to the hot pot story here, and putting aside the pink link to beauty, just know that beauty isn't for ladies only, and if you are gonna eat anyways, why not put in some collagen as well? hahaha

After 3 attempts and failed to secure a table at the Hai Di Lao Malaysia, we finally got our Hai Di Lao hotpot. And for a good reason, we conclude that this one's a lot more worthy than Hai Di Lao Singapore! But Singapore HDL serves better quality.
