I have been learning English for four months in GEOS. This is my teacher Adam, and my classmates. Today was the last day Adam taught us.
I have no intelligence to learn English. I thought I don’t need English anymore after I graduated. But I met my husband and he lives in the U.S , so I need to improve my English otherwise I can’t be independent when I live there. I tried to read some English textbook myself but I felt sleepy every time I open it.
I am glad I joined the class. Adam is a good teacher. He corrected my pronunciation and grammar when I was speaking. And my classmates enjoy learning English so they infected me. I really enjoyed the class. Thank you Adam. Thank you GEOS.

Hi
Today, I learned pronunciation of two Thai word from members. They taught me the difference between "gaprao" and "grabprao." They sound similar for me so I couldn't pronounce them correctly. I hope I will be able to pronounce them correctly soon😤👊
こんばんは!
今日は2つのタイ語の発音をメンバーに教えてもらいました〜。"ガパオ"と"ガパオ"。カタカナで書くと同じになるけど、発音は違うみたいなんですね…。
未だにちやんとした発音できないけど、良くなったらしい!
わーい😃

Today I’m talking with Luke Ranieri (@ScorpioMartianus) who literally speaks fluent Latin and conversational Ancient Greek. He’s part of a small community of speakers around the world who have kept the Latin language alive, even though as a native language of Ancient Rome it died out over a thousand years ago. For him, learning Latin is about the community but most importantly about accessing the huge body of literature, ancient and modern, written in Latin. It was really cool to hear him talk about the way that his ability to speak Latin has allowed him to empathize with ancient Roman literature at a much higher level.
We talked about what Latin sounded like and how he and people like him have accurately reconstructed the pronunciation — he’s not just making this stuff up! We also talked about learning Latin and the way Latin is taught in high schools in the U.S. and the U.K., and as you can imagine Luke certainly has a lot of thoughts about that! I studied Latin and Ancient Greek in high school and it was interesting to compare experiences with Luke.
Make sure to check out Luke’s YouTube channels at @ScorpioMartianus and @polýMATHY

Hi! My name is Loretta, a girl from the U.S. who moved to Japan! I'm here on the MEXT scholarship program as a graduate student, studying to get a Masters in Business Administration. Here are some answers to common questions:
1. Do I Speak Japanese? Yep! I was taught formally in High School and have been speaking now for over 15 years.
2. What are you studying? I'm a recent grad of Yokohama National University's "Masters of Business Administration" Program
3. How old are you?: Year of the dragon. :D The math is up to you.
4. How did you get into Japanese school?: http://tinyurl.com/yb8yylch
5. What camera equipment do you use?: I film my videos with a Canon 60D using a 30mm Sigma Art Lens and I edit with Sony Vegas Pro 10 (with some help from photoshop). Additional cameras include GoPro Hero 7 Black and DJI Majic Air
