I blinked and this boy is graduating from kindergarten. Awww.

Congrats, my Asher boy, you are gonna be in Primary 1 next year and that's a huge milestone! We are proud of you and love you so, so much. ❤

P.S. I was reminded that it would be nearly 20 years later before he gets a chance to wear a graduation gown and mortarboard again, and that is IF he graduates then. Haha. So this was truly a moment to remember. He was really shy during the photoshoot and it took me some time to coax him to take a solo shot because he wanted me to be in it with him. But look at how nicely this turned out! Awww. 珍惜此时此刻.

Here's a #throwbackthursday post to my days at Bunga Raya Kindergarten in Klang. When I used to climb trees, play all day in the sun and dress like a boy.

My late dad was the sort who used to make me sing, dance and read aloud from Hans Christian Andersen books whenever we had family gatherings.

Guess what, he was such a visionary. Look at where that's landed me today. Thank you, Papa💜

Primary 6. Primary 3. Kindergarten 2.

Yup, these are the journeys you three are embarking on in 2021. Being year end babies and having parents who are not very tall, you all told me you are still one of the shortest in class. Haha. But you know what, that's really okay. What is important is to be good, kind, responsible and friendly, and make lots of happy memories in your schooling years.

Glad to see your smiles today and looking forward to hearing more about your new classmates, new teachers and new adventures too. Oh yes, and counting down to March where we will welcome the baby into our family and things are gonna get so chaotic yet so exciting too.

P.S. The girls successfully woke at 6am and reached school by 7am as the big sister had to report for duty. It was still dark on the road and the sun hadn't even risen yet. Haha. It's a contrast compared to the holidays and well, just gotta get used to my alarms ringing one after another again. Now to wake the boy and bring him to preschool! Woohoo. Happy start of school, everyone!
