ทาง Bandai Namco ได้ประกาศอย่างเป็นทางการว่า Captain Tsubasa Rise of New Champions นั้นมียอดขายส่งกับแบบดิจิทัลรวมกันเกินกว่า 500,000 ชุดแล้ว ซึ่งนับว่าเกินความคาดหมายอยู่ไม่น้อย พร้อมกันนี้ตัวเกมก็ได้มีการอัปเดตเวอร์ชั่น 1.02 ที่มีการแก้ Bug ของเกมและระบบ Matchmaking ให้ทำงานได้ดีขึ้นด้วย พร้อมเพิ่ม Challenge ในโหมดออนไลน์เพื่อทดสอบฝีมือคนเล่นเข้ามาด้วย

แน่นอนว่าตัวเกมจะยังมีการอัปเดตเนื้อหาเพิ่มเติมให้ได้เล่นกันอีก โดยจะมีการประกาศรายละเอียดในงาน Tokyo Game Show 2020 ในปลายเดือนนี้
