"I want to swim fast like Theresa."
I had written about Jeremiah in a post-ASEAN Para Games mini series that shared my take aways from working at the APG as a presenter. I had crossed paths with Jeremiah last year while Theresa, Yip Pin Xiu and I, together with a few friends were having a quick celebratory meal at the same restaurant where he and his family were eating. He struck me as incredibly patient (and adorable!) as he waited for Theresa to finish with interviews and to take a picture with him. His face when PX and Theresa let him hold their medals was simply priceless. To now learn his progress in swimming is heart warming and inspiring to say the least. BRB gonna cry.
