爺爺家家一部分來自西班牙南部，兩年前我們決定要去西班牙南部展開一趟公路旅行幾個星期。因為疫情的影響，都無法見到他們，就這樣兩年過去了， 超過90的他們身體開始感到越來越累...
上個月回去給他們驚喜，讓我們留下四天難忘的回憶。
因為家裡遭竊所以行程無法繼續，我們不得不縮短我們的行程，快速趕回家裡處理。
奶奶患有老年癡呆症，她經常忘記我們白天做了什麼事。就因為這樣讓我們更珍惜跟她所剩的相處時間，認真享受當下。不管是一個微笑，擁抱，一首歌，一個旅行目的地...我沒有讓相機離開我，所以我可以捕捉每一個寶貴的時刻跟回憶，我們都知道它們是多麼的珍貴。
時間每天在流逝。每次離開他們心裡沉重的大石頭都會提醒我這個殘酷的現實。我祈禱讓我有多一點的時間可以跟他們一起創造更多類似的回憶。
看著他們一起，像兩個孩子一樣，唱著歌，逗著對方開心，關心著對方，彼此相愛，把每天當最後一天精采認真的活著，謝謝他們給我們上了這人生美麗的一課。❤️

Two years ago my grandpa and I decided we should do a road trip for few weeks to south of Spain where a part of his family is from. Then Covid arrived, two years passed without seeing them and both 90 they started to feel more and more tired...
After surprising them last month, we took the road for four unforgettable days.
We couldn't go as far as we wanted and we had to shorten our trip as their house got burgled.
My grandma has Alzheimer and she often forget what we did during the day. It pushes you even more to focus and truly enjoy the present moment.
A smile, a hug, a song, a destination... my camera didn't leave me so I could capture every precious moment. And we all knew how precious they were.
Time is running. Every time I leave their house a lump in my stomach always remind me about this reality. I pray to live more similar moments with them in the near futur.
It was a life lesson to watch them together, like two kids again, singing songs, teasing, caring, loving each other like there is no tomorrow ❤️

一南一北 偶爾聯絡 偶爾見面
家父家母一定認為我安然地活在另一座城市
規律地上下班 住在他們曾拜訪過的住處

如果我換了工作 搬離原住處
他們在我告知新生活之前
也會保持著原本對於我的生活的認知

如果我意外身亡
他們在終於被告知之前
仍把我存活在他們的認知之中
可能一兩天 可能數週
若被刻意隱瞞 數月都是有可能的

當我們賞月 望日 觀星
那是一秒多前的月亮
也是八分多前的太陽
更是十年 二十年前的星光
我們的世界
不過是我們被告知 被聲光刺激
然後在腦中重新建構而成的假想世界
也許不需要太認真對待吧

面對存活與死亡
好似相處與遠行

Maybe what I’m about to say is a bit horrifying, I’m not sure, but these are my true thoughts
.
My parents and I live in two different cities on the two ends of a compass.
Occasionally we talk and see each other
They must think that my life is good in the other city
Working according to schedule and living at the place they have visited before
.
If I change to another job and move out from where I leave
They probably would have the original perception until I tell them about my new life.
.
If I die in an accident, they may think the same about my life as they have in mind before they are informed of my death.
It may last for days, weeks or even months if the news was hidden from them intentionally.

When we watch the moon, the sun and the stars.
It was the moon of a second ago
The sun of eight minutes ago
They stars were the star of maybe ten or twenty years ago.
According to what we are informed and how we feel about sounds and lights,
we build a whole new virtual world in our minds, which we regard as the real world.
Maybe we don’t need to be so serious.

Facing living and death is like getting along with someone and his travelling far away.

We are now two weeks into our circuit breaker. I will be giving an update on where we are now and what we need to do next at 5pm today on TV and radio. You can also watch it ‘live’ here on my Facebook page.

This is an uncertain and worrying time for many of us, especially with the large number of cases in the migrant worker dorms. Our teams have been working hard to contain the spread of COVID-19 in the dorms, and look after the well-being of our migrant workers.

I urge everyone to persevere with the circuit breaker measures, and continue to help one another through this outbreak. – LHL

Kim worked as a child maid and helper to a family with an American GI husband in Saigon in her early teenage years. Her mother lived in poverty and needed Kim and her sister's salary in order to raise her other children, so the two sisters were put to work. Kim had a chance to go to America where the family didn't allow her to go to school or go outside. She was basically a prisoner. Eventually, she escaped by faking a pregnancy and she had to move away to another state. When she came back, the family who brought her over disappeared along with Kim's background. Only the American GI's wife knew of Kim's origins but she was cruel and evil. She didn't even mail all of Kim's letters back to her mother. Her mother was never told of her whereabouts or condition. Years passed. No clue, no names, no known locations, everything was a faint memory to Kim until the family who brought her over's son was found by Jon after endless days and weeks of searching. He provided an important clue to the whole mystery with the form of an address and that's where I came into the picture.
