It was an unforgettable moment at our centre!

Guess what??? Earlier this morning we received a visit from Malaysian celebrities MizzNina Noh Salleh. They had an opportunity to meet and interact with the students in the classroom. The staff and students felt remarkably happy to meet these two iconic celebrities today. Thank you for reaching out to us and hopefully they enjoyed every moment they spent here.

Human Aid Organisation’s Monthly Garage Giveaway at our centre in Selayang. Our Garage Giveaway session gives us the chance to collect their details for our future programmes. We also got the chance to interact and listened to their problems and help them to address certain issues regarding employment, UNHCR card, education and basic needs.

I have been a volunteer with UNHCR for a few years now, for World Refugee Day and Refugee Children's Talent Competition. In 2013 I helped out at the Malaysia Association of Zomi at their Khuando Pawi festival. This February 20th I was invited to share my singing with the Zomi people at Zomi National Day celebration held at Chin Woo Stadium.

I told them a story about the joy of music and living in George Gershwin's classic - I Got Rhythm, Ella Fitzgerald's version.
