Ed coan說我總是用額外的輔助訓練練我的弱點，讓他們跟得上我的深蹲臥推硬舉，所以我幾乎沒有下背受傷。
預防背受傷，要有強壯的背。
他說他從來沒有看過有強壯的背的人是虛弱的，因為當你要深蹲、硬舉或臥推全部都需要用到背。
你要建立好基礎讓你能夠面對更重的重量，而且你要訓練你的弱點。
很多ig影片的人po舉得很重一下，但他沒po他其實也有很多的訓練量。
訓練中非常重要的一部份就是量還有強度，但強度的總量要夠低讓你可以恢復，這樣你才能長期的進步。
