It may be the holiday season but there is no slacking on working hard at the gym or just keeping active. I'm definitely puffier due to the excess carbs, which is a mix of water and some fat, but base on what i see in the mirror i'm maintaining my shape. It's being smarter with my food holiday sessions 😋 cause I don't want to be the one counting macros everyday plus it relaxes my head.
The body needs a break from the strictness of the first time of 2 comps this year, but it doesn't mean i go crazy either. I have a taste of the things i like, but half. 😉
Here's what I've been doing after Christmas or any dinner occasion.
1. I go back to normal nutrition - my meals are predominantly meat and veg
2. I eat less the next day or next meal
3. I have green tea and some chlorella powder to help detox
4. Drink a lot more water to flush toxins
5. Keeping active is a must!
