One toddler who tries skating for the first time and is so overwhelmed by the whole experience that he can't seem to stand. Two girls who try to be adventurous on the rink and attempt to skate without the penguin aids. Three kids who can't seem to stop falling one after another.

Right. That was what happened to us last night after a whole day out at KidZania and a nice, somewhat peaceful dinner in the food court.

I thought it would be a cool experience skating with the kids under the moonlight but it turned out that I was perspiring from head to toe for that entire 30-min session. Haha. Definitely a good way to slim down if I do this more often. Even the staff commented "Wah! You are sweating so much!"

Yup, try lifting and holding these kids while still trying to take pictures and videos. On skates.

From now to 25 Dec, you can skate under a canopy of lights and jive to Christmas tunes at the first ever synthetic skating rink in the Outdoor Plaza at VivoCity Singapore. They have different themes every night and we were there on Mambo Wednesday and I was so thankful for the music that helped to give me a much needed boost.

Much thanks to the very patient and helpful crew members who were there with us every step of the way and made the kids feel so much safer too. You guys are awesome!

This was such a wonderful memory for me and the kids and I wouldn't trade any part of it. Okay, maybe we just wish it was real ice instead. Still, it was a great way to get into the Christmas mood and we heard Santa and his elves will be here on 24 and 25 Dec too so come join in the fun!

Thanks to the clear weather tonight, I got to skate under the moonlight at VivoCity's first ever synthetic skating rink which is situated at the outdoor plaza.
