Regarding the original title, 独法师, it origianlly stems from the one of the BGM soundtracks from Honkai Impact with the same name.
Depending on the language, there are 2 different possible meanings. In Japanese, it is read as ひとりぼっち, which directly translates to "Lone Monk", and is used
to convey loneliness or solitude. In Mandarin, it has 2 different meanings, one which is similar to the meaning of a "Lone Monk" and the other being "Lone Magician",
with the word 法师 being a contraction of the word 魔法师.
Thus, in order for the title to align with the punchline, the term "The Lone Magician" has been adopted for this comic.
