012/100 Red Fox
I think red fox is one of the most beautiful animals in the world. It’s heartbreaking to see them suffer and die causing by the fur industry and hunting.
I really enjoy creating this drawing. I ordered some Stonehenge papers for this project which I haven’t used it for a long time. At first I felt the paper is a bit too toothy, because I am used to the smoothness of the Bristol paper I’ve beed using for my recent drawings. After working on the Stonehenge paper for a couple of hours, it started reminding me of how good this paper is for colored pencil art. It takes many many layers of pigments really well. I bought the large single sheets from dickblick.com. It also has various color tones to choose from.
