We caught the preview of 'The Good Dinosaur' and it was yet another solid offering from Pixar. Being the film that follows the fabulous Inside Out was never going to be easy but this animated movie holds it own. The plot of a lost young dino struggling to find its way home may seem familiar, yet the magic comes not from the storyline but the manner in which it is being told.
The kids in the audience definitely loved it - a few of them were going 'Awooo!' together with the characters during the movie and that probably shows how much they enjoyed it. For me, I was blown away by the photorealism of the backgrounds. From the water flowing to the leaves swaying in the wind, the animation is so real that I find it hard to believe they are well, animated!
