We were at the preview of the highly anticipated @jewelchangiairport and the kids and I were so mesmerised by the whole place.
They said "Mama, we are in a garden, not an airport". True enough, when we stepped onto L2 and came face to face with the giant Rain Vortex and lush greenery, it did feel like we were transported to a beautiful, dreamlike garden sanctuary.
It wasn't possible to finish exploring every level in that short amount of time but we were glad we made it to Canopy Park on L5 and spent over an hour just picnicking and rolling on the grass at Foggy Bowls. There are many instagrammable spots at the colourful Topiary Walk with all the pretty 'animals' too. We can't wait to be back when the giant slides, hedge maze and bouncing net structures are ready for play.
Oh, and we have decided we will be watching Avengers: Endgame in Shaw Theatres Jewel. Yup, there is a cinema and even IMAX at B2 and we heard it's gonna be a kid-friendly one. Awesome, right?
I guess there are even more reasons to visit our airport - one that we love and are so proud of - from now on.
