3/100 European Mole
If you have read “The Wind in the Willows”, you must be familiar with this little guy. I am a fan of this book, especially the version illustrated by Inga Moore. I love the character “the Mole”.
I included some WIP photos in this post so please be sure to swipe the image to see all of them.
What I learned about moles:
European Moles are tiny (and cute), and they are NOT rodents. They have small eyes but are not blind. They live underground and are good tunnel-builders. They build intricate tunnel systems, with specific chambers for sleeping, mating, giving birth, and storage live earthworms(their favorite food)!
003/100 鼴鼠 European Mole
我很喜歡《柳林中的風聲》裡的鼴鼠先生，今天就來畫這個小可愛！鼴鼠其實不是鼠科喔，牠們是屬於食蟲目鼴科。鼴鼠長年居住地下，有一對小眼睛，但是並不是瞎的，只是色盲和弱視而已。鼴鼠是很厲害的隧道建築師，可以挖掘非常複雜的隧道系統，並且還會建築不同的房間，像是臥室、產房、和收集活蚯蚓的食物儲藏室（牠們最愛吃蚯蚓）。鼴鼠喜歡獨居，所以不會跟同類居住得太近。
