The Geylang Serai Ramadan Bazaar is a highlight of the local festival calendar. Like many Singaporeans, I made my way there last week to see what’s new this year and to enjoy the Raya atmosphere. It was a Tuesday night, but still packed with people gathered for good food and company. See if you can spot yourself or friends in my photos!
This is the first time the bazaar is fully coordinated by Wisma Geylang Serai. More stalls were set aside to sell traditional goods, and all food stalls (both traditional and “hipster”) served halal food.
The bazaar runs till June 5, so if you haven’t gone down to take a look, you should! – LHL
