( Part 1 mình cảm thấy sao mà thầy hỏi lắm vậy, thường mình nghĩ chỉ 4-5 câu thôi ấy, lịch nói của mình vào 16:50 nhưng mình thi sớm hơn so với lịch tầm 30 phút nên cũng chưa chuẩn bị tốt lắm, chị staff hỏi sẵn sàng thi chưa em thì mình trả lời luôn là sẵn sàng rồi ạ, thế là vào thi luôn cho nhanh kiểu nghĩ đằng nào cũng thi thì thôi nhanh còn về, muốn đến đâu thì đến)
PART 2 : Describe the first time when you used a foreign language to communicate .
(Đề này mình cũng thấy có trong bộ dự đoán rồi, nhưng khổ nỗi chưa làm qua tại nó mãi cuối list của bộ đề ấy, toàn làm các đề kia thôi, bạn thi sau mình lại gặp nay đề hay được thi nhiều là “a time when it is important to tell your friend a truth”, mình nói chưa hết 2 phút, không hiểu sao ở nhà nói dài lắm, chỉ sợ đi thi quá 2 phút mà chưa nói hết thôi nhưng nay đi thi lại khác, rồi thầy hỏi tiếp thêm 1 câu cho hết giờ đó là :
- Do people need to learn foreign language ? Why ?
PART 3 : Phần này thầy xoay quanh về part 2 và mặt ngôn ngữ, thầy cứ vậy là hỏi thôi tùy vào câu trả lời trước, mình trả lời kiểu toàn lệch hướng ấy, mình kiểu hay lấy ví dụ từ bản thân ấy nên thầy cứ nhắc mãi suốt là not personally mà là all people, anyway được cái thầy cũng nice rồi chỉ mình ! Mình chỉ nhớ loáng thoáng được 1 vài câu thầy hỏi là :
- Do you think that all children should learn foreign languages at school ?
- What is the best age for a child to learn a foreign language ?
- Câu cuối mình nhớ mang máng thầy hỏi học ngôn ngữ thì Speaking hay Writing khó hơn ?

🔥🌟 Hôm nay là một ngày đặc biệt, có ý nghĩa vô cùng quan trọng với cả Quân-Den và fandom LighterStar chúng ta. Ngày 30.11.2020 chính là cột mốc đánh dấu tròn một năm chúng mình may mắn có đại gia đình thứ hai đúng nghĩa, những người anh, người chị cùng các em luôn quan tâm, ủng hộ và cổ vũ hai đứa như người thân thật sự.

Khoảng thời gian vắt óc suy nghĩ tên cho fandom nhà mình vẫn in đậm trong trí nhớ của chúng mình, tựa như mới ngày hôm qua. Quyết định thành lập fandom, đặt một cái tên thân thương, từng bước từng bước gây dựng ngôi nhà chung thêm vững chãi, là một quyết định sáng suốt của hai anh em... Rồi chúng ta có dịp tụ họp trong Fan Meeting chính thức đầu tiên, trong những buổi biểu diễn đáng nhớ. Suốt thời gian vừa qua, có rất nhiều gian nan, trắc trở xuất hiện. Gánh nặng và áp lực đè nặng lên vai hai anh em liên tục, nói không mệt mỏi là nói dối. Thật sự đã có lúc đuối sức tưởng chừng muốn gục ngã, nhưng khi nhìn lại những gương mặt tươi cười, những cái ôm ấm áp, những vòng tay chan chứa tình thương, hai anh em lại như được tiếp thêm sức mạnh.

Trải qua muôn vàn sóng gió, vượt lên bão tố phong ba, khi ngoái đầu nhìn lại, chúng mình vẫn thấy mọi người ở đây. Hai anh em chúng mình biết mình không hề cô độc, biết rằng bên cạnh luôn có những người thật sự thấu hiểu và yêu thương mình, đây là một cảm giác rất lạ lẫm, vừa chua xót vừa hạnh phúc, rung động từ tận đáy lòng.

Chúng mình có một căn phòng riêng để lưu giữ những món quà và những tấm thiệp được gửi tặng ở khắp mọi miền đất nước và món quà từ các Lighter Star quốc tế nữa. Đó là thế giới bí mật, là nơi chứa đựng một phần trái tim. Mỗi khi quá mệt mỏi căng thẳng, chúng mình lại trốn vào đó, ngắm nhìn từng món quà, lật giở từng trang giấy. Chúng mình biết và trân trọng tất cả những gì các bạn fan đã làm, dù là những điều nhỏ bé nhất. Có những fan sẵn sàng đặt vé máy bay để tham gia show bất chấp khoảng cách địa lý. Có những fan dành cả ngày lang thang ở sân bay để đợi chúng mình mặc dù không biết lịch trình cụ thể. Có những fan chỉ nhìn từ xa, không dám đến gần vì sợ làm phiền chúng mình, làm chúng mình mệt. Có những fan ở các tỉnh xa, không có điều kiện đi xem show nhưng vẫn luôn dành rất nhiều lời động viên và bày tỏ tình cảm trên mạng xã hội, để chúng mình biết rằng các bạn vẫn ở đó. Có những fan ở nước ngoài, mặc dù khác múi giờ, nhưng luôn cố gắng theo sát các sự kiện và hoạt động thường ngày của hai anh em. Còn cả những fan quốc tế, những người đang cố gắng học tiếng Việt rồi chờ một ngày gặp gỡ có thể nói câu "Xin chào!". Dù tồn tại rào cản ngôn ngữ, dù phải chờ sau khi có phụ đề/dịch thuật, nhưng tình yêu của các bạn dành cho chúng mình vẫn luôn đầy ắp.

Các bạn cùng nhau góp ý, cùng nhau chia sẻ tâm tư tình cảm, cùng nhau hoàn thiện để xây dựng một tập thể văn minh, lịch sự. Dẫu biết đã là gia đình sẽ không thể tránh những lúc có xung đột, giận hờn, tranh luận, cãi vã, căng thẳng nhưng rồi mọi thứ cũng đều qua đi nhường chỗ cho tình yêu thương, thấu hiểu. Qua fandom LighterStar, các bạn cũng đã kết bạn cùng nhau, cùng nhau thành lập những nhóm support, những page support, đã có nhiều tình yêu được kết đôi, nhiều tình cảm chị em bạn bè được kết nối, tất cả đã gắn kết để thành một tập thể lớn đang ngày một lớn mạnh.

Cảm ơn tất cả các bạn. Chúng mình rất biết ơn và xúc động trước tình cảm đáng quý của từng fan đối với mình, coi đó là động lực để ngày càng hoàn thiện bản thân, chứng minh cho fandom mình thấy rằng mọi người đã không đặt niềm tin sai chỗ.

Một năm trôi qua, đã có một số người rời đi nhưng vẫn còn không ít gương mặt thân thuộc ở lại và tiếp tục đồng hành cùng chúng mình, bên cạnh nhiều bạn fan mới xuất hiện trong cuộc đời hai anh em. Fandom ngày càng phát triển và thay đổi tích cực. Chúng ta đã và đang cùng nhau tạo nên những kỷ niệm đẹp đẽ đáng nhớ, cùng chung tay góp sức cho các hoạt động thiện nguyện. Vui, buồn, giận, thương, bất lực rồi lại tràn ngập hy vọng... đủ các cung bậc cảm xúc mà không câu chữ nào có thể diễn tả hết được.

Một năm trôi qua, ngoảnh đi ngoảnh lại cứ ngỡ mọi thứ chỉ là giấc mơ, thật nhanh quá. Chặng đường có phần gập ghềnh ấy không ngắn cũng chẳng dài, nhưng nó là quãng thời gian chúng mình sẽ khắc ghi thật sâu trong tim.

Một lần nữa, cảm ơn tất cả các bạn đã ở bên Quân-Den, cùng hai anh em ngày một trưởng thành và hoàn thiện. Chúc các thành viên của fandom LighterStar ở khắp mọi miền đất nước Việt Nam và ở cả nước ngoài thật nhiều may mắn, mạnh khỏe, bình an và hạnh phúc.

Hãy tiếp tục nắm tay chúng mình trên con đường này, để vào ngày này mỗi năm, chúng ta lại cùng nhau ôn lại những kỷ niệm đẹp, gia đình mình nhé! ❤️💜

Today is of special significance to Quan-Den and our Lighter Star fan club. November 30, 2020 marks one year since we had the privilege of having a second family with our loving brothers and sisters who have always cared for and stayed by our side, cheering us on like true family members.

It feels just like yesterday when we were still raking our brains for a name of our fan club. Upon reflection, we found that it was such a great decision that we made to open the fan club, give it a lovely name, and step by step build our common home with you all. The first fan meeting and the first shows where we met you were also precious memories.

Over this period of one year, there have been so many challenges, and we would lie if we said we did not feel stressed or exhausted at times. There were moments that we were down and discouraged, but we were both given strength when seeing your smiley faces and having your warm embraces. Weathering through this stormy year, we are deeply moved to see that you guys are still here, that you understand and care for us, and that we are not alone.

We have a room where we keep all the cards and presents sent to us from all the corners of the land and overseas from Vietnamese and international Lighter Stars. It is like the secret chamber where our hearts go. Whenever we are stressed, we will hide ourselves away in the room, going through all the written messages and looking at all the presents. We know and treasure all that you do. There are fans who would book airline tickets to see our shows no matter where we performed. There are fans who would wait for us at airports without knowing our travel schedules. There are fans who would stand in the distance to look at us for fear of bothering us or making us tired. There are fans from distant provinces who did not have a chance to see our shows but were always generous with their encouragement and loving messages for us on social media, letting us know that they are still there. There are fans living overseas on different time zones but always trying their best to follow our events and daily activities. There are also international fans who are trying to learn Vietnamese so they say can “Xin chào!” when we meet. Language differences do not seem to deter them from expressing their love to us.

You have all been working together to share your emotions and thoughts and to build a civilised and polite team. Like any family, there were moments when you conflicted and argued with each other, but they have all passed, giving way to greater empathy and love. Many of you have found new friends when joining Ligher Star fan club. You have gathered together to create and maintain many support groups and support pages, and have gradually built a stronger team.

Thank you everyone. We are really grateful and moved by the care and support of each and everyone of you. We consider that as the motivation for us to improve ourselves and to show you all that you did not trust the wrong person. Some have left us, but many familiar faces are still here and continue to join us in our journey. New fans have also come into our lives. The fan club continues to grow and transform. We have been creating amazing memories together, joining hands in charitable activities. Happiness, sadness, anger, care, helplessness and then hopefulness are all the levels emotions that we have together experienced, so memorable that our words fail to describe.

It feels like a dream that one year has passed. So quickly!! The somewhat bumpy ride is neither short nor long, but it will be a ride that we treasure in our hearts.

Once again sincere thanks to all of you who have sticked by Quan-Den’s side, joining us in our growth and development. We wish Lighter Star fan club members in all areas of Vietnam and overseas good health, good luck, peach and happiness.

Hope you will all continue to hold our hands in this journey so that once a year we can sit down and recall all the beautiful memories we have had together. ♥️💜

How to overcome fear of speaking a language 🙈

(PS...new video coming on Monday about whether or not introverted language learners REALLY need to practice speaking or not ... keep your eyes peeled for that discussion!)

Anyway, here are some tips for overcoming fear in those situations where you do need to use a foreign language. 👀

1. Analyze the situation and go easy on yourself 🥰
Identify WHY you’re afraid of speaking a language. It could be because you’re too shy or because you don’t know enough vocabulary. If you use the wrong particle, grammar structure or word, what’s the worst that can happen? If people laugh at you, that’s a reflection of them as a person, not you.

2. Prepare vocabulary and phrases in advance ✍🏽
When I was working as a design intern at a Japanese company, I was really scared that I wouldn’t understand anything during meetings and presentations. It helped me a lot to look up words I suspected I might hear during the internship. I built vocabulary lists and example sentences of design-related vocabulary. You can’t find a textbook for every topic, so taking matters into your own hands and creating your own language learning materials boosts your confidence.

If you cannot remember or don’t know a word, you can always talk around the word and describe it in another way. If you don’t know the word for “cake” for example, but you know the words “sweet” and “food”, you can say “sweet food” and they might say “cake?” in return.

3. Practice beforehand 💬
Just like practicing a speech for a presentation, you can practice using new words and phrases in a safe environment until you’re ready to use it with a native speaker. This could be talking to yourself, a pet, a chatting partner online, or a tutor. My favorite method is talking to people on voice apps. When I can’t see someone’s face and they can’t see mine, I feel less ashamed of making mistakes.

4. Record yourself 🎥
You'll hear your mistakes easier and be able to correct them if you need to, but you'll also gain confidence over time hearing that you aren't actually as bad as you think you are! You can use sites like Forvo to hear a native pronunciation or ask a native speaker friend you trust to correct you first, if you like.

5. Relax ☺️
Remember not to take language learning too seriously. Your goal is to communicate with others, right? It’s counter-effective to worry about using the right words and grammar each time you try to say something. And it's always OK if you prefer to do other activities rather than speaking - we all learn languages for different reasons and if you prefer reading books and watching movies, that's totally fine too 💕

This is my first free trip from Amway! Although it's a small one not like ALS, Amway Annual Leadership Seminar, but it's really exciting for this Langkawi trip!! Because everything is free! From the air ticket to resort room to transport to food, they even gave us meal allowance when we transit in KL's airport!! But that's not the point, the main point is they treated us like super VVIP! That's the point!

Specially thanks for Ryan, Brian, Amber and Leslie for making us so enjoy and relax throughout the trip! And Mr. Leo, General Manager of Amway Singapore and Philippines, for accompany us for the whole trip! I was so so surprised that Mr. Leo actually showed up and stayed with us for every activities! I feel really touched because he is so so busy, and yet he came to Langkawi for us and cared for us. I can really understand the partnership I have with the company, we are not employee but partners with them.

Nevertheless, the amazing Langkawi. You know I was so disappointed when Amway Singapore announced that DD trip this year is to Langkawi. As a Penang lang, Langkawi to me is a little bit cheaper than Genting only, nothing really nice over there, BUT I WAS TOTALLY WRONG!!!!

Oh man, one night stay at Westin is about RM1000+, we stayed 3 nights, and all the high class places for food, I heard that company actually spent SGD3K on us per person! @@" That's damn much for Langkawi!! It's almost RM 7500 @@" Lucky it's all free, I don't think I will spent so much in Langkawi :x

Westin is just too amazing for holidays. Every views is a scenery! It's really worry-free heaven. The staff's service is very nice too, I didn't pick up the morning call, and the actually came to my room and wake me up, hahaha! Blamed the heavenly bed in my room!!!

I can't believe that I finally made it to Amway's Seminar and now back in home, updating to photos to my friends and share my happiness.
Thanks Ginny and Terry for sending me off at 6am in the morning, and Liz, my mum and bro and Terry for welcome me back, love ya!

I really in love with Langkawi now, it's so so beautiful, words can't really describe my feelings for this trip. I gained so much and grew even more after this trip. I realised the important of relax and happiness in life.

來囉來囉~首波主打活動來囉!!
今天CC深入朋友群，訪問了美國Stacey, Josh, 法國的Nguyen,韓國的Min,以及瑞典的Daniel，詢問他們為什麼覺得我適合這個野外動物看護員的工作，加速讓評審們能更了解CC。每個人對CC為什麼適合這個工作都有不一樣的解釋好有趣:D

Hi everyone! The first wave of activities are coming!!

Today I interviewed some people asking them why CC would be the best candidate for Wildlife Caretaker! I interviewed Josh and Stacey from America, Julien from France, Min from Korea, and Daniel from Sweden. I asked them to share what qualities and traits CC possess and why they thought she would be the perfect fit for the job- their responses were great! :D

現在我想要邀請支持CC的你，用實際行動一起留言拍影片!!!!!!

Now I want to ask all of you who support CC to leave a text or video response below!

1.如果你/妳早已認識CC，請用你最率真的那面在底下留言；如果你/妳透過這個粉絲團而認識CC，請你用你最富有想像力的那面在底下留言，請留下為什麼我適合這個世界上最棒的工作。

1. If you've known CC for a long time, please leave a comment or short testimonial about why she should get the job! If you are now getting to know CC through this Facebook page, please leave a comment about what her impression on you has been and why that makes her a strong candidate for the job!

2.如果你/妳覺得光用文字無法表達你對CC的熱情支持，不如就請你/妳錄製一段5秒鐘的影片(語言不拘)，說明為什麼CC適合這個工作，並請將影片寄到cchhhtaiwan@gmail.com ，付上你/妳的名字與來自哪個國家，屆時CC會將所有的影片整理起來PO上粉絲頁，屆時CC就可以大聲的跟評審說:對!!!我才是最適合野外動物看護員這工作的CC!!!

2. If you're not really a write or are having a hard time finding the right words to describe your feelings or thoughts, feel free to make a short video (5-10 seconds) about why CC is the best fit for the job of Wildlife Caretaker. Please send your video to cchhhtaiwan@gmail.com and include your name and country of origin. We'll compile all of the videos and hopefully have an amazing video montage that will make the judges' decision so easy in choosing CC for the Best Job in the World!!
