Back for more! After getting complete blood and urine tests at BodyConscious Bkk with an hour long consultation each about what supplements and lifestyle changes we need to move closer towards optimal health, Byron and I received another round of acupuncture and sound healing. Ahhhhh so peaceful 🥰🥰🥰
This was after Byron’s Shockwave Therapy to specifically target his chronic shoulder pain due to old neck injury. ( He broke his neck pole vaulting at age 18) Look at the size of the needles in his head! 😱 But apparently they acted as a strong pain relief and he was flying high on endorphins afterwards with a big goofy grin on his face 😂 He will need to do these weekly to treat the years of lack of mobility due to fused vertebra and metal pin in his neck but so far it seems to be doing something. Will let you know how it goes!
As for me, I was given a special Gut Health Massage for my digestive issues and emotional blockages. Based on the same technique as Chi Nei Tsang, which helps release stress and promotes healing by using techniques of massage directly over the navel and surrounding abdominal area where stress, tension and negative emotions accumulate and congest. Apparently I’m storing a fair amount of stress and anxiety said the therapist as she kneaded and rolled around my gut. Gives a whole new meaning to having a “knot in your belly” 😅 Immediately after I felt a deep sense of ease and was able to breathe more deeply (which is essentially the key to release of stress and negative emotions)
We will be receiving our personalized supplement and vitamin packs soon and I’ll be back to share more!

“If you don't know the words, that means you don't understand the concept, and therefore, you don't even realize that concept is even a possibility.” —— human rights activist Yeonmi Park。
★★★★★★★★★★★★
I was born in 1993 in the northern part of North Korea, in a town called Hyesan, which is on the border with China. I had loving parents and one older sister. Before I was even 10 years old, my father was sent to a labor camp for engaging in illegal trading. Now, by "illegal trading" -- he was selling clogs, sugar, rice and later copper to feed us. In 2007, my sister and I decided to escape. She was 16 years old, and I was 13 years old.
1. on the border with 鄰近邊界
2. labor camp
3. illegal trading
★★★★★★★★★★★★
I need you to understand what the word "escape" means in the context of North Korea. We were all starving, and hunger means death in North Korea. So it was the only option for us. I didn't even understand the concept of escape, but I could see the lights from China at night, and I wondered if I go where the light is, I might be able to find a bowl of rice. It's not like we had a grand plan or maps. We did not know anything about what was going to happen. Imagine your apartment building caught fire. I mean, what would you do? Would you stay there to be burned, or would you jump off out of the window and see what happens? That's what we did. We jumped out of the house instead of the fire.
4. in the context of 在⋯⋯的情境中
5. concept
6. a grand plan
7. catch fire
★★★★★★★★★★★★
North Korea is unimaginable. It's very hard for me when people ask me what it feels like to live there. To be honest, I tell you: you can't even imagine it. The words in any language can't describe, because it's a totally different planet, as you cannot imagine your life on Mars right now. For example, the word "love" has only one meaning: love for the Dear Leader. There's no concept of romantic love in North Korea. And if you don't know the words, that means you don't understand the concept, and therefore, you don't even realize that concept is even a possibility.
8. unimaginable
9. no concept of...
10. romantic love
★★★★★★★★★★★★
Let me give you another example. Growing up in North Korea, we truly believed that our Dear Leader is an almighty god who can even read my thoughts. I was even afraid to think in North Korea. We are told that he's starving for us, and he's working tirelessly for us, and my heart just broke for him. When I escaped to South Korea, people told me that he was actually a dictator, he had cars, many, many resorts, and he had an ultraluxurious life. And then I remember looking at a picture of him, realizing for the first time that he is the largest guy in the picture. And it hit me. Finally, I realized he wasn't starving. But I was never able to see that before, until someone told me that he was fat.
11. an almighty god
12. tirelessly
13. a dictator
14. it hit me 突然想到、意識到
16. ultraluxurious
17. have a…life 過著⋯⋯的生活
★★★★★★★★★★★★
Really, someone had to teach me that he was fat. If you have never practiced critical thinking, then you simply see what you're told to see. The biggest question also people ask me is: "Why is there no revolution inside North Korea? Are we dumb? Why is there no revolution for 70 years of this oppression?" And I say: If you don't know you're a slave, if you don't know you're isolated or oppressed, how do you fight to be free? I mean, if you know you're isolated, that means you are not isolated. Not knowing is the true definition of isolation, and that's why I never knew I was isolated when I was in North Korea. I literally thought I was in the center of the universe.
18. critical thinking
19. revolution 革命
20. dumb
21. oppression
22. isolated and oppressed
*dumb: https://bit.ly/3fG5XOk
★★★★★★★★★★★★
So here is my idea worth spreading: a lot of people think humans inherently know what is right and wrong, the difference between justice and injustice, what we deserve and we don't deserve. I tell them: BS. Everything, everything must be taught, including compassion. If I see someone dying on the street right now, I will do anything to save that person. But when I was in North Korea, I saw people dying and dead on the streets. I felt nothing. Not because I'm a psychopath, but because I never learned the concept of compassion. Only, I felt compassion, empathy and sympathy in my heart after I learned the word "compassion" and the concept, and I feel them now.
23. inherently
24. justice and injustice
25. psychopath
26. compassion, empathy and sympathy
*compassion: a strong feeling of sympathy and sadness for the suffering or bad luck of others and a wish to help them
empathy: the ability to share someone else's feelings or experiences by imagining what it would be like to be in that person's situation
sympathy: (an expression of) understanding and care for someone else's suffering
★★★★★★★★★★★★
Now I live in the United States as a free person.
★★★★★★★★★★★★
And recently, the leader of the free country, our President Trump, met with my former god. And he decided human rights is not important enough to include in his agendas, and he did not talk about it. And it scares me. We live in a world right now where a dictator can be praised for executing his uncle, for killing his half brother, killing thousands of North Koreans. And that was worthy of praise. And also it made me think: perhaps we all need to be taught something new about freedom now. Freedom is fragile. I don't want to alarm you, but it is. It only took three generations to make North Korea into George Orwell's "1984." It took only three generations. If we don't fight for human rights for the people who are oppressed right now who don't have a voice, as free people here, who will fight for us when we are not free? Machines? Animals? I don't know.
27. agenda 議程
28. be praised for 因⋯⋯獲得讚揚
29. execute (v.) 處決
30. worthy of sth
31. fragile
★★★★★★★★★★★★
I think it's wonderful that we care about climate change, animal rights, gender equality, all of these things. The fact that we care about animals' rights, that means that's how beautiful our heart is, that we care about someone who cannot speak for themselves. And North Koreans right now cannot speak for themselves. They don't have internet in the 21st century. We don't have electricity, and it is the darkest place on earth right now. Now I want to say something to my fellow North Koreans who are living in that darkness. They might not believe this, but I want to tell them that an alternative life is possible. Be free.
32. speak for oneself
★★★★★★★★★★★★
From my experience, literally anything is possible. I was bought, I was sold as a slave. But now I'm here, and that is why I believe in miracles. The one thing that I learned from history is that nothing is forever in this world. And that is why we have every reason to be hopeful. Thank you.
34. slave
35. miracle

(English writing below)
....................
"Today, I will let you witness what analysing Bazi truly means."
Usually before I begin, I will ask the client if they have gotten their Destiny analysed before, so that I can understand how much they know of their own Destiny.
This client told me she did the analysis before. However the solutions she received were to purchase various crystals amounting to a five-figure amount. She could barely afford to pay that huge sum.
After listening to her, I felt much regret that Bazi Analysis had been so misinterpreted and misunderstood by the masses.
A few days after our consultation session, I received the PMs from the client.
Because she once experienced rapid heart beating after drinking coffee, for 20 years, she thought she was allergic to coffee and dare not consume it again. I told her she could, and in fact, should drink as much as possible. I also explained to her why her heart rate shot up at that time.
She bravely took up my advice, and broke through her self-assumed Destiny.
There are many people out there who are suffering. Yet most of them do not wish to understand how to turn things around, but instead play the blame game or say things that dampen one's mood:
"It's me lah. I have severe heavy negative karma."
"What Destiny is there to change? If it works, why are so many people still suffering?"
"It's very tough, impossible! I tried before, but nothing changed!"
"Everything is predestined! Life is like that, just take it easy!"
"Don't want! Isn't it scaring myself to know my Destiny?"
If you keep talking like that, you are just cursing yourself. You deny yourself the opportunity to increase your wisdom. Your brain remains in that state of insobriety, with no Light in your heart.
This is why the windows of the souls of many people are cloudy and unclear.
Because they have chosen to close up their minds and this shows in their eyes. They remain like this for many lifetimes, and pass on this demoralising trait to their children.
I rather know how I will die, when I will die, why I will die, and how I can die more fuss-free, than to die not knowing anything. This was my initial reason for learning Chinese Metaphysics and Dharma. I want to regain control of my own Destiny.
The Chinese phrase of 天時地利人和 means:
Your Bazi is the Heavenly Time which constitutes 33% of your life,
the Favourable Place which means harmonising your residence Feng Shui forms another 33%,
and the last 33% is Human Effort.
However, your Heavenly Time will attract a certain kind of "Favourable Place", and also influences heavily your amount of Human Effort.
These 3 variables have a very intricate working relationship in controlling your life.
In other words, if you do not have deep understanding of your Heavenly Time, you do not know how to use your Bazi. Neither will you know what kind of Feng Shui is most prosperous for yourself, nor will you be able to steer your Human Effort in the best direction to maximise your life potential.
Most people will say just leave it to Fate. But you know what? The true meaning of that phrase means after you put in your best effort, you will not force the end result and be at peace with the eventual winning or losing.
The most important thing is you have worked hard, you know how to work hard, and with the life your parents gifted you, you fulfilled your responsibility by living it in a more promising way.
Perhaps what will happen will still come. But I am here. Don't be afraid to know your Destiny, because why should we admit defeat to Destiny, or in my client's case, a cup of coffee?

《A Whole New World & Game of Thrones》(電影「阿拉丁」主題曲-嶄新的世界 & 影集「權力遊戲」主題曲)小提琴大提琴版本 | Violin Cover by Lin Tzu An and Cello by Wu Yo Yo of A Whole New World, OST of “Aladdin,” and Main Title from the “Game of Thrones”

Here comes my weekly updated cover.
This week is the week for soundtracks : A Whole New World, OST of “Aladdin,” and Main Title from the “Game of Thrones,” both of which were officially released last week.
To perfectly represent everyone's childhood memories, and it is said that fans were disappointed to the finale of the power game season 8, I decided to cooperate again with my cello partner Wu Yo Yo, which will definitely make everyone satisfied !
I’m touched by the meaning behind Aladdin when Aladdin and Jasmine changed their perspectives, broke the stereotypes established and finally saw each other’s true inner self. May each one of you free from the stereotypes of social standards, be true to yourself and respect other’s uniqueness. ”Never change for the sake of change; those who are true will always love you for who you are” (Aladdin 2019)
This reminds me of my decision of being a busker. Instead of playing at National Concert Hall and being the best violinist, the expected career path from the society toward those majoring in music, I chose to performing as a busker, passing the healing power of music, getting closer to everyone, and sharing my music and the touching moments with everyone.
What would you do if you get Aladdin’s lamp?
I just hope ya’ll enjoy my cover.
Though I am not Genie that can make your dream come true, the only thing I can do is playing the requested song for you.
There were soooo many unexpected obstacles about the filming of this cover. It was supposed to film in the early morning, but started to rain heavily.
Due to the super heavy rain, the cover was delayed.
As for making up for not keeping the promise of updating my cover on time, here is another line I love from Aladdin “wear your smile on the face, carry your confidence on the shoulder, keep courage in your heart, and hold destiny in your hand.”
Should you have any request regarding cover songs, just comment below and let me know.
Also please share the video and subscribe to my channel https://bit.ly/2EsTGMQ.
Don't forget to click the 🔔 bell to be notified when my videos come out!
Another week, another cover. Let's goooo, hope yall like this!

you broke me meaning
This is an English cover of "Sekai ni Hitotsu Dake no Hana" (The Only Flower in the World), a well-known song performed by Japanese boy band SMAP (founded in 1988 and disbanded just last year in 2016), with lyrics by singer-songwriter Noriyuki Makihara.
While I usually create my own translations, there was already a fantastic English version of this song by Hiromi De Young (YouTube linked below in the credits), and a great translation of the chorus by Nelson Babin-Coy (channel also linked). I used my favorite parts of each of these and made a few of my own changes.
I hope this song's message of acceptance and uniqueness reaches a larger audience through my cover.
Enjoy!
*Note: As usual, most of the translation is very close to the original meaning, but the second pre-chorus (the verse starting with "I saw a small flower...") is actually quite different from the original. However, I loved these lyrics so much that I kept them :)
The original meaning of the verse in Japanese is:
I didn't even know his name
But he gave me a smile that day
Just like a flower that was blooming
In a place where nobody would notice it
~♪~♪~♪~♪~♪~
Enjoy!
I saw a small flower as I walked by
It stretched from the shadows to reach for the sky
I thought to myself, what if I was that way
Reaching for my own dream and saying...

(No. 1 ni naranakute mo ii)
Only one
(moto-moto tokubetsu na "Only one")
I saw all the flowers lined up on display
The shop full of colors with their scented embrace
We all have a blossom we like more than the rest
But I think, with flowers, they all are the best
No fighting or envy, they never contend
But smile in the sunlight and sway in the wind
They all know their mission, it fills them with pride
Everyone is different yet all are alike
I wonder why people must always compare
And judge one another it seems so unfair
To place color, status, and looks to the test
For how can these show us who’s the best?
Just like these flowers
In the whole wide world, you are one of a kind
Cherish your uniqueness, no, you don't need to hide it
Each one of us holds our own special seed
So just be true to you, that's all you'll ever need
A man stood beside me and peered with a sigh
He puzzled and pondered but could not decide
With so many flowers and various hues
All were so pretty, which one should he choose?
Suddenly, a big smile broke out on his face
Flowers in all different colors and shapes
He gathered up a bouquet with one of each kind
Hugging them softly with joy in his mind
I saw a small flower as I walked by
It stretched from the shadows to reach for the sky
I thought to myself, what if I was that way
Reaching for my own dream and saying...
(sou sa bokura mo sekai ni hitotsu dake no hana)
(hitori hitori chigau tane wo motsu)
(sono hana wo sakaseru koto dake ni)
(isshou-kenmei ni nareba ii)
Small flowers, big flowers, all kinds of flowers
You will never find one that’s just like any other
So you don’t need to struggle to be number one
Just be yourself because there’s only one
La la la la...

World's best motorcycle pants are RHOK (search Ebay for them) A guy hired me to take him out for the day. Early into the ride he went down hard. I kept looking back to see if he was keeping up alright....and he was. So I didn't slow down. His accident is a combination of over confidence and you'll notice he turns his head before he crashes....look through the turn...etc..etc. I'll upload a video soon where I talk more about it. I didn't allow comments on this video when I first uploaded it because I know how crash vids on youtube work. You get a bunch of losers who have never ridden before insulting the rider. Heck....if someone uploaded a video of Valentino Rossi crashing while on the street (without people realizing it's him)......you'd have hundreds of comments like "Fucking noob shouldn't even own a bike....learn how to ride!" . LOL
You can tell that his line is a bit unstable from the start. He seems to adjust his line multiple times through each bend. He should have realized that he wasn't taking the corners smoothly and backed off. I didn't realize this as I couldn't watch him long enough to see while being in front.
Partially because of this day I focused more on safety for my June Tour and it seemed to help. We didn't have a single crash for my June 2012 tour.
Another thing to note is that right before the corner that he crashes on I slow down a bit.....but he doesn't seem to......the gap between us becomes shorter right before the crash. Meaning he took that specific corner at a higher rate of speed than myself.
He broke his leg in a few places. He was amazingly optimistic and never seemed bothered or even complained about the incident. His biggest mistake was over confidence which isn't such a bad thing......and his attitude was the best about the accident. I have a lot of respect for him.
