【亞歷山大暗黑戀愛史🤎】

他，應該是年少纖弱，俊美無方吧？否則不會從大流士三世（Darius III，c. 380-330 BC）枕邊來到亞歷山大大帝（Alexander the Great，356-323 BC）懷裡，依舊享盡寵愛，萬人之上。

包高斯（Bagoas the Younger）年紀輕輕進入波斯宮廷時，已經去勢成為太監，沒多久便成為大流士三世的情人，待到國土易主之後，又被獻給新的征服者-亞歷山大大帝。

那一年，早已馳騁沙場征戰無數，統治領土跨越歐亞非三洲的亞歷山大才25歲，而包高斯年僅10多歲，他柔美脆弱的無辜模樣，加上輕盈靈活的舞姿，或許剛好挑起滔滔慾念裡的英雄柔情。此後，包高斯成為亞歷山大最愛，成功擠進權力核心小圈圈。

無論是否位居高官，至少，小情人的枕邊絮語很管用。

照理說，古希臘人多半認為太監一類不僅貪得無厭、心性懦弱又貪食縱樂，導致亞歷山大出身的馬其頓宮廷對於太監向來懷有敵意；然而亞歷山大大帝傾心波斯文化已久，又因個人癖好所致，使得太監終於在希臘宮廷裡逐漸取得地位，甚至後來得以在希臘化的埃及宮廷擔任重要職務。

身為統治者，當然不會只有一位情人，但是根據史料記載，亞歷山大身邊圍繞的眾多男性中，唯有巴高斯被稱為〝eromenos〞，意指古希臘文化中一種特別的性關係：戀童癖。要建立此類關係，雙方通常會在年紀和條件上都得有段差距，eromenos 即是指兩人之中，較年輕、順從乖巧又聽話的那位。

儘管一位太監能獲得國王恩寵已屬雞犬升天，該心滿意足好好陪伴主人就好了吧？但這只是我們不懂事老百姓的想像，古往今來，很少有人手握權力卻能安分守己不踰矩，巴高斯也是。

坐擁特權與恩寵，包高斯絲毫不加掩飾他小人得志的嘴臉，甚至全不避諱干涉國政。

被亞歷山大大帝征服之後，波斯舊臣即使再不服氣也只能見風轉舵好求取生存。

波斯將軍奧西涅斯（Orsines）深諳其中之道，不只竭力向新主輸誠，更準備成堆禮物孝敬亞歷山大周圍的親信。但不知究竟是陰錯陽差？或是出自對閹人的輕蔑？他卻偏偏冷落了舊主的舊愛兼新主的新歡-巴高斯。

眼見奧西涅斯的禮物人人有份，卻唯獨落了自己，人小心眼更小的巴高斯這下子當然會記仇，於是他開始在亞歷山大面前編排大將軍的不是。耳鬢廝磨久了，捕風捉影的事也會發酵成災，奧西涅斯真的不幸為此招來殺身之禍。

波斯大將軍被閹人構陷身亡的故事輾轉流傳到中世紀，只是在教會約束之下，很難把禁忌愛戀如實攤在陽光下，於是在這部製作於15世紀末的手抄書中，包高斯被描繪成身著華麗勃根地時尚的貴族女性芭戈埃（Bagoe），用以表明亞歷山大大帝的伴侶如此美麗溫柔又大方，才能說服當時虔誠的讀者，並通過教會道德標準。

畫面從左至右，敘述波斯將軍馬屁沒拍成卻魂斷刑場的心酸事：

波斯將軍奧西涅斯跪在亞歷山大大帝面前獻上禮物以表忠誠，亞歷山大身旁是穿著藍袍，時尚迷人的芭戈埃。竭盡身家，準備這麼豐厚的大禮，奧西涅斯原本以為從此高枕無憂，可以為新主效勞了，想不到卻還是栽在亞歷山大枕邊人的手裡。

曾經斬殺敵人無數，即便馬革裹屍也是軍人的光榮，結果最後竟是因為禮物🎁少送一份，被亞歷山大的新歡陷害而面臨極刑。奧西涅斯再度跪下雙手合掌，內心複雜百般滋味，這恨啊怎麼吞得下？！亞歷山大和假扮成貴婦芭戈埃的包高斯，並肩站在一旁台階上觀看行刑，而奧西涅斯身後那位劊子手正將利劍高高舉起。

亡國將軍的悲情人生就此終結。😩

儘管戀童癖在古希臘上流階層文化裡並不罕見，然而即使到了今天卻還是免不了道德與人權的爭議。

亞歷山大英年早逝後，所有關於包高斯的記述全數湮滅，再也沒有人知道這位心眼不太好的太監去了哪裡，當時他不過20多歲。包高斯曾經存在的痕跡被刻意抹去，或許也是因為人們難以容忍這種關係。雖然年紀輕輕卻被閹割，多半是人力不可抗拒之因素所造成，但誰叫另外一位事主卻是戰功赫赫的大英雄…

從中世紀手抄本描述這段故事時，得刻意轉換巴高斯性別以說服觀眾，便可見到古往今時對於性別二元論的觀念差異。

現代社會看待性別認同已經趨向更開放多元的態度，但我們還是期望，每段戀情都能建立在公平對等的基礎上，還有，善良、磊落、大度與正義，才是不論任何身分都必須具備的原則。

Faith Declaration: God’s Angels Guard Me in All My Ways

A wrong belief: “I wish Jesus would come down from Heaven and walk beside me to keep me safe. I feel so vulnerable down here on earth.”

“no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone. You will tread on the lion and cobra. You will trample the young lion and the serpent underfoot.” (Psalms‬ ‭91:10-13‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Today, the Lord brought me back to Psalm 91 to teach me about the part about angels and the assistance that they render to us.

We are not left defenseless here on earth. You are protected from enemies, accidents, and sicknesses “for He will put His angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways”.

Angels (plural; not just one angel) are actively guarding you in your daily walk. Look how attentive they are—they bear you up such that you will not even dash your feet against a stone.

All this fantastic protective service is happening in the realm that is invisible to us. Angels clearing the way for us, assisting in times of trouble, and ministering to us, according to God’s command.

We are precious children of God, and as royalty, we have the most powerful defenders with us every day. They are invisible to us, but they are still around. We walk by faith, not by sight—we must believe God’s word.

How do you tread on the lion and the cobra? This is impossible with God’s intervention because if you approach these animals in the wild, they will attack you.

It can only be because our guardian angels are restraining these beasts, preventing them from harming us.

Think about Daniel who was cast into the lion’s den. An angel of the Lord had shut the lions’ mouths and stood in between so that they would not harm Daniel, even though the powerful beasts were starving.

“Then Daniel said to the king, O king, live forever. My God has sent his angel, and has shut the lions’ mouths, and they have not hurt me; because as before him innocence was found in me; and also before you, O king, I have done no hurt. Then was the king exceeding glad, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no kind of harm was found on him, because he had trusted in his God.” (Daniel‬ ‭6:21-23‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Think about the apostle Paul who was bitten by the snake after arriving on the island of Malta, and yet, the poison did not even affect him. Paul simply shook the snake off into the fire, and this became a powerful testimony to the island natives that the Jesus that Paul serves is truly God. Could Paul’s guardian angels have somehow disabled the snake’s venom before it was allowed to bite him?

In both Daniel and Paul’s situations, they were allowed to experience the appearance of danger, but the supernatural protection became powerful testimonies to glorify God.

In Daniel’s case, King Darius witnessed God’s power and wrote a decree which glorified God. In Paul’s case, the natives living on Malta were healed and saved, and the name of Jesus was greatly magnified.

God allows the semblance of danger at times so that He can swoop in at the right time with an amazing deliverance, to bring forth salvations and the furtherance of the Gospel.

God’s angels are assigned to protect His people. One-third of all created angels joined Lucifer in rebelling against God many years ago (Revelation 12:3-4), but the great news is that there are still two-thirds of angels who are on God’s side. There are more holy angels with us than there are demons against us.

Every day, I confess with my family, “Your angels guard us in all our ways.” No matter where you are and what you are doing, be conscious that you are so protected and loved by God!

A new faith declaration: “God’s angels guard me in all my ways. I am so loved and protected. God is for me, so I will tread and trample over all obstacles and enemies.”

An Excellent Spirit Brings Lasting Promotions

“It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom an hundred and twenty princes, which should be over the whole kingdom; And over these three presidents; of whom Daniel was first: that the princes might give accounts unto them, and the king should have no damage. Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm. Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.” (Daniel‬ ‭6:1-4‬ ‭KJV‬‬)

Many unbelievers in the world think that to get ahead in life, they have to lie, cheat and steal. They use underhand methods to get promotions, stepping on others to climb up higher.

However, in the powerful Medo-Persian kingdom, Daniel distinguished himself in the eyes of the king by displaying an excellent spirit.

Out of one hundred and twenty princes and three presidents, Daniel was preferred above them all—not by currying favor, but just by being an excellent in all he did.

He was faithful in all his duties, and did his work excellently.

Truly capable people don’t have to resort to dirty methods to get promoted.

If you use corrupt ways to prosper, your adversaries will be able to dig up dirt to testify against you.

But when you do everything honestly and do your work well, wanting to give your best, who can fault you? Having a clear conscience is sweet and peaceful.

“A good man shall obtain favor from Yahweh, but he will condemn a man of wicked devices. A man shall not be established by wickedness, but the root of the righteous shall not be moved.” (Proverbs‬ ‭12:2-3‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

When you see others getting promoted through dirty ways, don’t let the temptation of the shortcut cause you to stray from having your heart in the right place.

When an excellent spirit is in you, you will obtain favor from the Lord for promotion. Do your work well as worship unto Him, not to please your boss.

“And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.” (Colossians‬ ‭3:23-24‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Because you are a “good man” in Christ, based on His finished work at the cross, God’s favor is yours.

Remember: favor, not labor!

Promotion through wicked ways is not a sure foundation. There are many cracks and one day it will all collapse, and the fall will be great.

Let your promotion come from relying on the grace (unmerited favor) of God. If it comes as a gift, you won’t have the stress of having to maintain it by your limited strength. God will supply the grace for you to thrive in the new role.

Pray with me: Dear Abba God, help me cultivate an excellent spirit like Daniel. I want to be promoted, but at Your timing and in Your chosen way. I want to rely on Your unmerited favor, not my stressful labor. Thank You for the abundance of grace that empowers me to work faithfully as worship unto You. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen!

Allen Iverson showed he is about more than scoring.
Iverson recorded his first career triple-double, collecting 30 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds as the Philadelphia 76ers coasted to a 116-92 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.

The NBA's reigning Most Valuable Player, Iverson has always been known for his scoring. But he was an all-around player Monday, making 10-of-22 shots from the field and helping the Sixers post their best offensive output of the season.

"I know it's a great accomplishment, but it's a team accomplishment," Iverson said. "Without teammates, you can't get a triple-double. They did a great job finishing, they did a great job of getting me the ball to get the points, and they did a great job of boxing out. Guys my size don't get a bunch of rebounds. It was a total team effort. Without them, this wouldn't be possible."

"Allen had a phenomenal all around game," Sixers coach Larry Brown said.

Matt Harpring added 19 points and Dikembe Mutombo 16 and 12 rebounds for the Sixers, who opened a 53-38 lead at haltime and cruised the rest of the way.

Philadelphia, which was returning home following a 3-4 road trip, has won three of its last four games.

"I was concerned about this game because I thought we would be tired," Brown said. "That is why we did not have a shootaround. We started out with such life. I think when you start out and it is too easy, it is very difficult if a team comes back at you. We handled it extremely well."

Quentin Richardson netted 21 points to lead the Clippers, who were playing the opener of a six-game road trip.

Los Angeles coach Alvin Gentry was ejected in the fourth quarter after picking up two technical fouls.

"We just didn't play well, that's the bottom line," Gentry said. "This was one of the few games that I don't think we competed hard. I didn't like our effort at the start and that's important.

"In general, we we've played hard almost every single game we walked out there. I just think that if you're going to beat a team like Philadelphia, you've got to get at it right away and I didn't think we did that. That's the disappointing thing."

Starting to look more and more like the defending Eastern Conference champions, Philadelphia controlled things virtually the entire way against the upstart Clippers.

Corey Maggette scored the game's opening basket, but that was the Clippers' only lead of the night. Iverson had nine points by the end of the first quarter, helping the Sixers to a 26-16 advantage.

A layup by Darius Miles pulled the Clippers within 36-33 with 4:52 left in the half, but that was as close as they would get.

Derrick Coleman, who scored 13 points, hit a short jumper and Harpring and Iverson made two free throws apiece, triggering a 17-5 burst that gave Philadelphia a 53-38 cushion at the half.

Philadelphia led by at least 15 points the entire second half.

Iverson scored 13 points and Coleman and Harpring each added 11 in the opening 24 minutes.

"We know where the top teams are in the standings and we're going to be at the top by the All-Star game," said Iverson, whose team has a 15-19 record. "We got to get that respect back in us to the point where people come in here and have a doubt in their mind. People aren't as scared of us as they used to be. If we start beating people, they'll get scared again."

The only thing in doubt in the second half was Iverson's triple-double. He collected his 10th assist midway through the fourth quarter on a 3-pointer by Aaron Mckie before reaching double figures in rebounds seconds later.

McKie added 14 points for the Sixers, who shot 52 percent (48-of-93) and held a 54-49 rebounding advantage.

Maggette added 16 points and Lamar Odom 13 for Los Angeles, which shot just 35 percent (31-of-89).
