From putting out a fire 🔥 to climbing on high buildings and rescuing people, to dealing with road accident emergencies, I’ve learned so much from the Luminox’s Code Red Survival Course conducted by the Malaysia International Search and Rescue (MISAR) 👩‍🚒

We often watch these heroes on TV saving lives, but often we don’t think much about who they are or what they do and just assume that’s their job. 🙌
.
Being able to role play and experience what they had to go through even if it was just for half a day, has made me realised just how challenging and tough it was. 😳

These heroes are all volunteers! 😱 They’re from different backgrounds and professions; lawyers, paramedic, police, business person and more! But they are all willing to make personally sacrifices to give their time and effort to travel all over the world because they all share a common mission of SAVING LIVES.

Sometimes to be a hero it's not just about strength💪 but it's the courage which comes from the 💛 to put OTHERS above SELF

That's precisely what Malaysia International Search and Rescue - MISAR stands for. They are a voluntary, independent organization (they don't report to the government) and it consists of silent heroes...regular humble ppl holding a day job who just wants to make the world a better place by saving lives
.
I've had an amazing experience in their training ground recently where we participated in the Luminox Code Red survival course and learnt how they accomplished all of their rescue missions. In any critical mission such as saving lives or battling for survival, Luminox is the timepiece to go for. This is also obvious because they din't became the official watch for the Navy seals without a solid reason! Thank you @luminoxmy for this incredible experience🔥
