Public Art consists of artworks – regardless of materials or forms, which are displayed in public realm – space that everyone can approach and interact with. Murals are perhaps one of the first and common types of public art.
The work “Sistine Chapel Ceiling”, took Renaissance painter and sculptor Michelangelo nearly 4 years to conceive (from 1508 to 1512) is one of the world’s renowned frescoes. This enormous and exquisite work of art depicted fables from “The Book of Genesis” of which “The Creation of Adam” was a part.
Fast forward to 20th century, we have Diego Rivera – a cubist and surrealist painter, was one of the first to use murals as sites for retelling Mexico’s history and its people. “The history of Mexico”, created between 1923 and 1939, was a part of the campaign supporting the Mexican Revolution. If you look close enough, you would find his wife, artist Frida Kahlo in this fresco!
East Side gallery in Berlin, which repurposed the remaining 1,316 m of the Berlin Wall separating the city into halves for 30 years, also houses very important murals of the late 90s and early 2000s. “Oh god, Help Me to Survive this Deadly Love” (1990) was painted by Russian artist Dmitri Vrubel, and was reconstructed in 2009 due to vandalism and atmospheric conditions. This mural recreated the notorious photograph of a fraternal kiss between a Soviet and a German statemen in 1929 and ironically depicting the dichotomy between connection and separation (the Berlin Wall).
So what about Vietnam? Have you ever seen a mural before? If yes, please share with me in the comment section!

"Arabic numbers don't think of the number of angles"
Today, there are many people who have received this forward. According to the history of the arbic numbers we use. Each number is made up of "the number" within the numbers. I have been used for their whole life. So!? I'm sorry. It's not true.
The current numbers we call "Hindu-Arabic" are actually from the ancient Indian cuddle characters used in mathematical calculation between 200 years before crystal to the 3th century. Appearing in Bakhshali record which is very famous from the oldest record in mathematics and shows the use of 0 zeros... See in the illustrations, it will see the similarity between this antique numbers (aka the numbers. Brahmi numerals) with current Arabic numbers
After that, the characteristics of the numbers changed centuries and spread to medieval Persians and Arabs were finally published in Europe. It appears in Codex Vigilanus by the work of Christians in Northern Spain in July. Prof. 881... Look at the illustrations, you will see that the more like the current Arabic numbers (but they write from right to left) which will only have number 4 and 5 that look different. Please.
Then this Hindu-Arabic number was renovated in 1202 by Leonaci's work of Leonaci (who thought about Fibonacci cuddle ci sequence) by using this system in liber. (It means book of calculation) is popular all over Europe.
Arabic numbers are highly popular in Europe and in the 15th and 16th centuries, it is found that they are commonly used as well as written on the watch dial... as in the illustration (from the Ms. Thott. 290.2º written by Hans Talhoffer in 1459) Writes how to sort out all numbers.
When Europe passed the era of art, culture or Renaissance), there was more study of Hindu-Arabic history and found that in addition to a lot of primmi numbers, it is also influenced by the evolution of printing. cuddle carabinieri, cuddle characters in Europe in those days... As a comparison chart in the illustration made by a French historian-étienne montcula, printed in the book in the book of Histoire de la Mathemathematique in July. Prof. 1757
Until the 18th century, that all the popular numbers in Europe have changed to the current Arabic numbers... which clearly has nothing to do with the number of corners within the numbers.

突發「笑著流淚」林格X肥仔 雙人展 | 「Joy in Misery」Works by Lin Ge & Fatty Ho ﹗﹗﹗
Plutocracy, dictatorial democracy, boastful president, Brexit, weakening elitism and the rise of individualism form an unprecedented situation in the world today. Looking back at history, the last great change may be the Renaissance which popularized knowledge and words. However, the current subversion is entirely different from the past since there is usually no leader in the transformation. Perhaps authority will lose further its original value in the near future.
Talking about our blessed land, its world GDP per capita ranking has been continuously rising and dominating the top of the list over the past few years. We have 15-year free education, well-established healthcare system, social security, and the welfare from the government is extraordinarily perfect compared with other places in the world, it covers every stage of our life: from birth, growth, education, career, medical care, retirement until death. Though Uber is no longer available, we have public transport fare subsidy. We can also share the fruits of its economic development under the Wealth Partaking Scheme annually. In contrast to the turbulent global pattern, this place is unrealistically lovely.
In the first exhibition of Find Art Association in 2018, we are going to introduce two talented young artists – Lin Ge and Fatty Ho. They have been publishing works in various areas through words, illustration, computer graphics and short film etc. Fate brings us together in this exhibition with artworks of “Joy in Misery”, let’s try to observe and explore life in this unrealistic city, and we may question ourselves: are we really happy? It is hard to reveal our true self in our life, fortunately, there is art. I hope this exhibition can inspire more people to care about the world and their surroundings.
