Started their business in 2018, Bahulu Arang produces bahulu cake using the traditional baking methods that have been commercialized nowadays.

To keep the Malay heritage that's remained until now, the owner uses charcoal as a substitute for the oven in making his bahulu cake. He also follows the recipes taken from the 60s and using sand in the process of baking bahulu cake to ensure its authenticity.

The owner collected around 300 unit of different copper mouldings from all over Malaysia in the past six years.

Available in original, mix, and fruity flavours, the taste and aroma are different from the modern bahulu cake. It is soft inside and crispy on the outer layer, very suitable to eat with a cup of coffee or tea.

💭“When in doubt, write it out.” — a gentle reminder as we transition into a new year of unknown.
Lately I’ve been finding comfort in quiet seated meditation and journaling. As the year comes to a close, I’m still trying the process the amount of personal changes I’ve accumulated throughout the year. Growth comes along with change, as change comes with a series of unavoidable decisions on what stays in and out of your focus.
By sitting quietly, the mind learns to take a break on all sensory stimulations. As the external voices quiet down, I find it soothing to open my journal and just write. I don’t always write in full sentences or in my best handwriting, point is to take ten minutes a day to declutter the overloaded mind.
We may all have different approaches to personal wellness. The most important thing is that we find a small, doable daily ritual and stick to it. Let it be taking a long walk, stretching in the morning, or simply making yourself a cup of hot tea... pick something that lights you up and keeps you grounded.
We began the year with curiosity; now we close the year with gratitude. The light within me bows to the light within you, thanking you for being on this journey with me! 🙏🏼
當心裡充滿未知、不確定時,我選擇將在腦海裡飄過的一切寫在白紙上。來到2020的尾聲,我的練習開始融入更多的冥想及書寫。這一年來所累積的改變,說實在的⋯我還在消化當中。成長背後一定伴隨著改變,而改變使我們一定要在堅持和放下之間做出選擇。

每個人需要的自我照護方式不盡相同,可能是獨自散步、晨間伸展,甚至是很簡單地為自己沖泡一杯熱茶⋯ 最重要的是我們找到自己喜歡、能夠每天做到的一件小事,讓心更能夠定下來。
我們帶著好奇心揭開今年的序幕,也準備懷著感恩的心結束這不容易的一年。感謝這一路上能與大家相遇,願我們在這條路上能夠一起發光發亮!✨

It can be as simple as doing things that makes you happy. ✨ Maybe it is brewing a tea, reading a book or even going for a walk while listening to your favourite music; enjoying alone time always calms my mind.
Last weekend, I spent an afternoon making these beautiful preserved flower aroma stones Myosotis flower . Even though I’m never a “crafty” person, but I was so focused in every steps, picking up flowers, decorating, stone colouring and so on… It is not about how pretty the finished product could be, but the process makes that moment special.

Hi all, so here’s the recipe offer very famous Indian chai(tea) called as Cha-y.
I was never a tea person but recently started drinking, guess the Delhi winters made it happen.
The recipe is very simple and is usually liked by people.
All you need is :-
A pot
Ginger
Cardamom
Tulsi leaves
Black pepper
Tea
Sugar
A sieve
Process / Boil water in a pot and start adding - tulsi, ginger(grated) , cardamom(crushed), tea and a pinch of black pepper powder.
You can add sugar now if you want to or later.
Now add milk and boil for 2-3 minutes before straining through a sieve into a cup.
Add sugar or jaggery or brown sugar as you like.
Enjoy with cookies, chips or samosas.
