❗️多益必考句型- instead; instead of❗️
1⃣️instead of：中文翻譯成「而不是....（表示沒有從事的舉動）」。介系詞的用法，後方必須加上「名詞」或「動名詞Ving」。放句首時，記得打逗號。
2⃣️instead: 中文翻譯成「反而...卻....（表示從事了某個舉動）」 。常放在「句首」或「句尾」。 如果放在句中，要特別注意考題中暗示的「標點符號」喔！
例如我們可以說：
➡️John沒有照顧破病的老婆，反而一個人在深夜看A片。
我們可以知道John
⭕️看了A片。❌沒有照顧老婆。
1⃣️Instead of taking care of his sick wife, he watched porn videos alone at night.
2⃣️John watch porn videos alone at night instead of taking care of his sick wife.
3⃣️John didn't take care of his sick wife; instead, he watched porn videos alone at night.
4⃣️John didn't take care of his sick wife. Instead, he watched porn videos alone at night.
5⃣️John didn't take care of his sick wife. He watched porn videos alone at night instead.
🍰解題秘訣：
▶️先搞清楚題目的空格（以下以❓表示）在「句首」「句中」還是「句尾」，如在句尾就會立馬知道答案是instead.
▶️看題目所給❓前後方的的「標點符號」，有出現「分號；」答案就安心選擇instead.
▶️看❓後方的接續，如果後面是「句子」（表示有S➕V），答案包準是instead. 如果只有「名詞或Ving」，就一定是instead of.
