及早養腎保護膝關節
孝子:「爸爸年紀漸長,不時抱怨膝痛走不動,吃止痛藥也沒有用,應該怎麼辦?」
CheckCheckCin:膝痛走不動多源於關節退化,關節退化是自然的老化現象,症狀包括關節疼痛、酸軟無力、僵硬、上落樓梯有困難等,多見於長者、骨質疏鬆症患者及長期體力勞動者。中醫典籍《黃帝內經》提到男士「五八(40歲)腎氣衰」,而且「五臟之中,腎主藏精,主骨生髓」,由於男人的腎氣從40歲開始減弱,腎精不足導致骨髓空虛,骨質無法得到足夠養分,關節隨之退化,影響腿腳活動。如果膝關節不適症狀影響日常生活,應該盡早求醫。也可以透過以下方式著手,防止及延緩關節老化。
- 控制體重,以免過重而加重膝關節負擔,甚至引發關節炎
- 多穿長褲避免膝關節受寒
- 每天早上10時前或下午4時後曬太陽20至30分鐘,吸收維他命D及補充陽氣
- 少提重物,如提取重物時要保持正確姿勢,下蹲並降低身體重心,身體盡量貼近重物,挺直腰背,靠腿部力量抬起重物
- 適量進食養腎食物,例如夕米水、黑芝麻、黑豆、蠔、瑤柱、核桃、腰果等
- 每天按摩腎經穴位,活躍腎經內氣
腎經首穴 — 湧泉穴
功效:滋陰養腎、強精益髓,防治腰腿酸軟無力
位置:足底,屈足捲趾時足心凹陷處
方法:每天用大拇指用力打圈按揉2-3分鐘

CheckCheckCin: Knee pain and difficulty walking are mostly caused by degenerative joint.
Joint degeneration is a natural part of aging. Its symptoms include joint pain, weakness and soreness, stiffness, difficulty in walking up and down stairs. It is common with the elderly, osteoporosis patients and long-term manual workers. Ancient Chinese medicine book “Huangdi Neijing” mentioned that men’s kidney qi get worse after the age of 40. Insufficient kidney essence leads to empty marrow. The bone cannot get enough nutrients. Therefore, joint degenerates then affects leg movement. You can seek for medical help if knee joint discomfort affects your daily live. You can also start to prevent and relieve joint degeneration by doing the following.
- Control your weight so as not to overburden your knees and even cause arthritis
- Wear trousers more often to avoid exposing your knees to cold
- Expose yourself to sunlight for 20 to 30 minutes every day before 10 am or after 4 pm to absorb vitamin D and replenish yang qi
- Lift less heavy objects. If you have to lift heavy objects, keep your posture proper. Lower your center of gravity by squatting down. Keep your body close to heavy objects, straighten your back, and lift heavy objects using your leg strength.
- Appropriately consume ingredients that nourish kidney, such as dusk rice water, black sesame, black beans, oyster, dried scallops, walnuts, cashews, etc.
- Massage the kidney points every day to active kidney qi
Kidney meridian point - Yong Quan Point
Effect: nourishes yin and kidneys, strengthens your marrow. To prevent weak leg and waist
Location: bottom of feet, curl up your toes and it is located at the depressed point at the center of your feet
Method: use your thumb and massage in circular motion for 2 to 3 minutes every day.

在職媽媽們工作壓力大,本身飲食已不定時,又經常坐在辦公室欠缺運動,回家後又要照顧子女,身心疲累,有時候為了消壓一時不為意就暴飲暴吃,當休息和運動量都不足夠,就很容易會出現水腫問題。忙還忙,也要好好照顧一下自己,不妨在臨睡前抽幾分鐘按摩一下穴位,只要以指腹輕壓或是畫小圈輕按每個穴位約2至3分鐘,就可以擊退惱人的水腫問題,還原靚媽媽的模樣!
水分穴﹣位於上腹,肚臍眼對上約1吋位置。這穴位主治水腫問題,以及多喝凍飲而引起的腹部肥胖,多按可促進水份代謝。
陰陵泉﹣位於小腿內側,脛骨內側髁下緣凹陷位。膝蓋內下方有一突起骨頭,沿骨頭下方向內側摸會找到凹陷位置,按下去時會有痠軟感。多按揉這個穴位可健脾利濕。
足三里﹣位於外膝眼對下約四隻手指位置,是對脾胃有保健作用的穴位。不論是因脾胃欠佳而引起的胃痛、腹瀉、便秘又或是水腫問題,都可透過多按揉這個穴位舒緩。
Three acupoints to fight edema!
Working moms are usually faced with pressure at work leading to irregular meal times, coupled with other unhealthy habits like lack of exercise due to sitting in the office and taking care children at home, and stress eating, the lack of sleep and exercise can easily lead to edema. It is important to take care of yourself so try to take a few minutes before bed time to massage these acupoints. Gently press or circularly massage these points with your finger tip for 2-3 minutes and you can be rid of edema and get back your motherly prettiness!
Shui Fen (Water Separation) Point- located in the upper abdominal area, about 1 inch about the belly button. This acupoint mainly targets issue with edema, and also abdominal puffiness due to frequent consumption of cold drinks. Massage it often to promote water metabolism.
Yin Mound Spring- On the medial aspect of the lower leg, in the depression of the lower border of the medial condyle of the tibia. On the inner side of our knee cap, there’s a protruded bone, follow that bone downwards to find a recessed position. Press on it and you will feel some soreness. Massage this often to strengthen the spleen and dispel dampness.
Zu San Li- On the anterior aspect of the lower leg, four-finger breadth below knee cap. Massaging this point can relieve weak stomach and spleen related issues such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation or edema.
