Receiving this in the mail really made my day and recharged me for all the work putting into these community service projects.
Working on non-profit projects to better the community and people around us has been what my parents have always taught me growing up. And from 2020 to now, I have been putting my energy into doing what I can to produce projects that help children's education and this pandemic.. Not going to lie, there are days where I feel exhausted, drained, sleeping 5hrs a day and worried things won't pull through, but whenever I receive the letters from frontline works and smiles from the talented kids I teach, it makes everything all worth it. This place reminds me of the sets for Music Videos. Minds me of the days where I was on those boy band-like shows back in Asia.
2020, has been a weird year, with opportunities lost, and some opportunities found. A year of reflection and self-growth.
Was able to go back and make some music again.
Was fortunate to have written two award-winning songs, US Census 2020, and We Will Win-Covid19 Awareness Song this year.

1980s.. the golden era of Singapore. DIAM DIAM OR KAOPEH

Even though I have watched Director @jackneock previous 2 movies, 我们的故事, but the latest series #TheDiamDiamEra touched my heart the most.

Maybe because I'm born in the 80s and the show happens to show that the 4 kids have grown up and how they faced challenges when Singapore goes through a number of key political changes.

Not even 30mins to the show, I already started tearing, obviously thinking about my own 4 kids while watching the show. #CryAndLaughAlot

The political changes may not be affecting me much since I'm a child but to me, it's the memories of sng bao (ice pop sticks), hopscotch, zero point, xin yao and teacher throwing chalk duster or chalks at misbehaving classmates.
