Been feeling kinda burned out lately, and I finally get to enjoy my first Sunday of the year where I can do nothing and just chill to my @Spotify Premium playlist. Being able to download songs and enjoy the music I love everywhere is pretty great. Funny how happiness nowadays can be just a yummy meal or being able to...well, going through an entire podcast on Spotify without ads.😂 Guess I’m just getting old.

And can I say I woke up like this? Always take pics in front of huge windows so sunlight senpai can help to cover all the flaws on your face🌞

First things first, Frozen 2 is darker, more mature, and more emotionally complicated than the first #Frozen. Which makes sense because 6 years on, the little ones who were enamoured with the first movie have grown up and are more emotionally mature. And this is also probably the reason why the kids rate the sequel even BETTER than the first!

There is no villianeous foe to combat this time around. Instead, the movie wisely focuses on the characters and their personal development. And that is what makes them so endearing to the audience. Olaf still has the best and funny lines - the segment where he summarizes the first movie is hilarious and well worth the ticket price alone. No kidding.

Songs-wise, let me just say it was always going to be a tall order to hit the heights of the songs from the first movie. The #Frozen2 songs are not as catchy but there are still gems. Stand-outs include Elsa's 'Into the Unknown' and Olaf's funny 'When I Am Older'. But my personal fave is Kristoff’s song, 'Lost in the Woods' which is fashioned like a Peter Cetera-era Chicago power ballad (if you're as old as me to know 😂), complete with a 90s-style boyband music video... with reindeer singing in unison, Queen-style no less! It may have flew over the heads of the kids but I think the adults will love the references. 😀

Definite a must-watch with the kids this school holidays, Frozen 2 opens in cinemas on 21 Nov 2019. Oh, and stay all the way til the end because there's a post-credit scene!

This is exactly what I would like to apologise to you. When your Daddy and I had your older brother, we would eagerly anticipate every milestone, scrutinize everything he ate, every word he spoke. With you .. we felt more confident as second time parents, so as long as you slept, and pooped - we were fine. 😅

With your brother, I could spend hours looking at him sleep, but now I no longer have the luxury of time. There seem to be a thousand and one places to go, stuff to do : for 3 year olds don’t generally keep very still.

We bring you along at every outing, every time, for you seem to be really happy looking at your kor kor’s antics, or laughing at his funny songs and dancing, even if it is not the most age appropriate. 💃🏻

Sometimes I feel sorry that you have to play his old toys, or wear clothes that he has outgrown so I’m really glad when you have new stuff to wear or new toys to play (Silly, I know) 🙆🏻‍♀️

So thank you.. for being you. For being so unassuming sometimes, for letting your brother choose toys for you, or play the songs he likes instead. Maybe it will change very soon.. as you grow up, you might have your own opinion, make your own choices. But in the meantime, thank you for being our precious second son - and for letting us know how much love our hearts can fill. ❤️✨ Happy 14 months and many more.
