Anyway, here's me chilling with my homies with roti John. It's recent years that roti John is slowly becoming a "Melaka thing" but one should know that the real deal that separates most roti John we know and the Melaka roti John, would be the moist level. In Melaka, roti John is made to be crispy, much like toasted grilled with sardine. And the rest of the fancy sauces and what not, is made popular by KL version.

People seemed to like the drench of cheese and mayo sauces, to me that's like plated jewelry imo. Think 24k plated bracelet Vs 18k gold bracelet. Majority would go with the first. But back to roti John, if you like the lucious drench of sauces, Seri Erra Roti John - Puteri Erra has the crisp edges from the 'deep frying' for texture, and a great combination of flavour to go with those cheesy mayo sauce.

Super lovely to have tried some very lovely Macanese dishes from the Fat Tea Macanese Food at their recent media occasion. Nope, I didn't get to sample bacalhau but I'd be sure to find out if they have that when I return again soon. Being the only Macanese restaurant in Malaysia to be endorsed by the Macao Tourism Malaysia, it really is pretty amazing to have some authentic flavour of Macau so whenever you are feeling Macanese, you know where to go.
