The time when @henry_kudther told me he's going to do an easy long distance run at Kokol today was last Thursday. I contemplated and almost didn't wanna go. I know it's long but unsure of the distance, almost wanna turn back when reaching Kasih Sayang, but weather was really nice, so went ahead.

First long run of the year (mind you, I haven't run this long in a year). Started at 5am (late by few minutes coz I wasn't sure if it's gonna happen, I even texted both Kudther and Juni to make sure 🤣) from Klinik Manggatal towards Kokol 1 loop. Ran downhill and flat, walk uphill. The first half was ok, till I went up 4km from Kg. Tombongon (dreaded!!! Also kedai soto doesn't open on Saturday, hunger was real). I was running on empty (had peanuts, a can of chrysanthemum drink). Pitstop at the soto shop at the top for 100 plus (didn't eat coz lazy to wait, bad idea).

Returning was painful coz my roadshoe doesn't have much cushioning and by noon, the sun decided to shine so bright and it was hot 🔥 🙄 burn!!!

Last 3km am starting to get a weebit drowsy, stopped a bit and pushed all the way, I was questioning my sanity at that point coz 1) foot pain 2) hungry die me 3) hot die me 4) sweet drinks plz 5) can somebody just drop me off at Klinik Manggatal 😭 till I finally reach the tower 🗼, that's like 1.6km left. Dear lord, I just wanna go home and eat then shower 🚿 Thankfully finished this dreaded 37km, am gonna do recovery run tomorrow, maybe 🤪

Sidenote: Tried the 5L aonijie hydration bag that I got from @heatnrunsabah snug fit, and still feels light. Had 1.5L with me, haven't try putting more load but so far so good 👍🏻 I like the material too, no rough surface.
